ScouseMouse180: Yeah it was on a FF7 subreddit (surprisingly cos I thought people there would be vv strong in favour of changing nothing). The thought process was, this game is gonna be totally different, different fighting style, very different feel to the game, therefore the original music won't fit that new style anymore.
They are changing the soundtrack!?
To be honest, I don't recall much about the soundtrack, but I'm sure I would recognize some of the tunes.
While I knew they were redoing the entire game, and would tweak a few things (graphics, animations, cut-scenes, controls and interface would be remade to more modern standers, of course), I expected the music to just be re-recorded with minor adjustments.

Final Fantasy VII in names only, then?

I LOVE the FFVII soundtrack! One of my all time favourites. To me it's a vital part of the FFVII experience.

Well I should point out that it was only my guess that they'd remove/majorly alter the soundtrack but I can't see why they wouldnt when they seem to be changing everything but the character names.

Here is the full OST btw, if you've played FF7 all the way through I guarantee they'll all come flooding back to you when you hear them. I only have to hear a few notes and it brings back such great memories. It definitely is a massive part of the FF7 experience.

I'd have preferred what they recently did with FF9 on the PS4, re-release it as pretty much the same game with just a slight upgrade in things like graphics.

Out of interest, have developers just given up on turn based RPGs now? Are there are new ones being made? If they are dying out, I really don't know why.

Hey guys,

Just giving a little update RE the channel. I've decided that last night's episode of Undertale will be the last in the series. It's just doing really badly for views and every episode it gets lower, which is totally fine, we all like different things.

I love making these videos but the main reason I do it is to give you videos that you enjoy watching and it's not hard to see from looking at the numbers that very few people want to watch that series compared to my other games.

I've got a list as long as my arm of great games and ideas that I think would be really popular on the channel so it just makes sense for me to focus on uploading videos people wanna see :)

So we'll be alternating Little Big Adventure and Dark Souls for the next few days, then on 25th Oct my Halloween Week will begin where I'm gonna take you through the history of horror games seeing how they've progressed.... 7 days, 7 games from 7 different consoles/eras starting with the NES and finishing up with a 2017 game on Xbox One.

Then once Halloween is over, we'll be back to LBA and Dark Souls, and I'll be starting a truly phenomenal game that I'm mega excited to do on the channel... gonna keep that under wraps for now.

good to hear, i personally didnt like the graphic style of undertales and am looking forward to your halloween do. also.... more souls...........................i love to see you suffer...... that look on your face when you step off a roof and die when you are about to finally kill the boss. good times

Thanks Mintee, as I say that's fine and it seems like you're definitely not alone in feeling that way. Like I say, I wanna do videos that people want to watch and I 'only' upload 1 video per day and it was starting to feel like Undertale days were a 'wasted day' because I was using that day putting something up that hardly anyone wants to watch when I could have put something like Dark Souls up (or loads of other games).

Yeah I wanted to do something a bit different for Halloween, I know EVERYONE is playing horror games, and I know I basically am too lol but I've got a bit of a theme going on at least and there should be some good variety seen as it's like 1 game per generation. At the end of each episode, I'll announce what console the next game is from so you can have a guess what I've picked :p
