SmashManiac: Uhh... I was able to redeem Saints Row 3 and 4 with all the DLC even though I only own the core games on Steam. Is this normal? I don't want to download them now in case I acquired them due to a glitch.

The weird thing is that when Frozen Synapse was on GOG Connect I had the opposite problem: I was able to redeem the core game but not its DLC, even though I owned both on Steam.

P.S.: Thanks a lot for the freebie! ^_^

Maighstir: GOG cannot see which DLC you have on Steam, only whether or not you have the base game. It's up to GOG and the publisher whether or not you get anything beyond GOG's base package.
That would explain it, but how would you know?
Thanks a lot to Deep Silver and GOG! :)
I had just finished the GOG versions of Saints Row 2 and 3 not too long ago, and I loved 'em. SR2 ran as well as could be expected with a 30 FPS lock, but I could live with that. I did miss Eliza Dushku's hippy Shaundi, Johnny Gat, and the Fuzz and Septic Avenger diversions in SR3, but I loved 3's intro bank robbery and plane set pieces, Female Voice 2, the new characters like Zimos, and the many added wacky stuff like the takedown animations, all the amusing ways to dress up the character, and the new diversions like Tiger escort. :-) Looking forward to playing SR4 and GooH!

saramakos: I don't see Saint's Row 4 in Connect, I can't even see Saint's Row 4 as available on GOG? Am I missing something (besides the game that is!)
Yes, you're Australian. Your country's censorship laws forbids GOG to sell you SR4.
I have Saint's Row 2-4 (but not Gat Out of Hell) on Steam, but can't seem to redeem them from GOG Connect.

You need a public profile on Steam.

My profile IS public. I checked all my settings, and I've gotten games off GOG Galaxy before.

SR2 is free on Steam as well and the whole series is on sale, just a FYI.

GOG has said as much. At least I remember them doing that, my memory may be... wait, what was I saying?

Worked for me, I was having issues with it not seeing me have Gat Out of Hell.

After clicking that, then clicking "refresh" on the GOG Connect page it worked.

GOG Connect uses Steam's API to check what games you have in your Steam account. The API, though, has a technical limitation which makes it unable to read your DLC packs.

Oh wow, that's a strange limitation! Thanks for the information!
When I try to launch the game it immediately crashes and I after launching Visual Studio Just In Time Debugger I get the following error report:

"Unhandled exception at 0x00CDEAEC in SR2_pc.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x0000003C."

What could be causing this, and more importantly, how to solve this problem?
