Gudadantza: Weird, the rest of the languages are there into the "locale" folder, but apparently there is no way to change it ingame. And It is said that the PhysX is deleted, but the PhysX dlls are in the folder as well.
To test it, one manual option coud be rename the folders to english and see if it changes anything. The matter is that in Steam the rest of the languages are there, the GOG version is only advised as English.
About the UI I see it much better, it scales better in modern resolutions, and the text is no tiny and blurry, badly rendered like in the original.
EDIT: Well, I have tested simply renaming and adding the spanish "speech.zip" file into the English folder and it works. So I shoud be the same renaming the full folder to have voice and text translated, but considering the the game is brand new and it will be patched during the next days or weeks, well, it could be just a temporary workaround. And as I said, the PhisX dlls are there, and in the intro screens, it is shown as a feature ingame.
As usual some of the critizisms in the Steam forums must be relativized
Well not really to relativize. If they didn't manage to get something that simple right for release. What else could go wrong.
tremere110: Looking at the reviews so far, yikes. I'll just keep the original and pick this up on a deep discount unless they really work to.patch all of the issues I've heard so far.
Oriza-Triznyák: https://steamcommunity.com/app/3906660/discussions/0/667222425710271761 Already own the original Gog release version .
I will not buy it .
tremere110: So most of the issues are an intentional design decision? Whelp, guess that's never getting patched. Might not even pick this up at all because I doubt I'd ever play it.
Even if it is a "design decision". It's a remaster, you're supposed to update the controls and Graphics for modern rigs not alter the core of the game. Jeezus.
Make a new Sacred if you want to "alter your own Vision".
