In short, there are rumors that Nintendo is planing to snatch BG&E as there next consoles exclusive similar to Bayonetta 2.

On one hand it would be nice to finally see the game made, on the other hand I'm not one of those people that buys a system for one game and the typical Nintendo block of Mario/Zelda don't interest me.

Interesting, and like Bayonetta 2 that would mean we'd actually get a BG&E2 in the first place. Ubisoft sure seems to be happy dragging it's heels on the game.

beyond good and evil 2 has been in development hell for 13 years now
and even if ubisoft is working on it im pretty sure they want to hedge their bets and release it on all platforms

even if nintendo money hats the title it might go the way of their "exclusive" capcom contract for the cube
with sales so dissapointing capcom threw in the towel and pulled out
releasing r esident evil 4 on the ps2 anyway

As happy as it would make me of seeing a Beyond Good & Evil sequel made (and yes, I've seen the promo videos released so far), I very much hope that it'll see the lights on PC, as the most recent Nintendo console I currently have is the Nintendo 64, and I'm very much not looking forward to have to get a current-gen console for a single game -- regardless of brand, I have neither a PS4 nor XBOne, and both the PS3 and XB360 were dirt-cheap second-hand units -- due to the cost of hardware.

That would be wonderful. It's the platform this game belongs to.

Michel Ancel is a genius, but Ubisoft doesn't really respect him. I hoped for years that he would leave them an would work exclusively for Nintendo. But at the moment he's working on an exclusive game for the PS4.
