We want Jeremy Clarkson back !!!!!! :'(
I thought this was going on since last year?
Jeremy Clarkson got involved in what the media called a 'fracas' with a producer. Turned out to be a physical alteration after a day of filming no hot food was served. Clarkson got suspended, news came through about an hour ago that his contract is not being renewed and he's effectively been fired from Top Gear.

His Twitter says he 'was' a Top Gear presenter, and James May's twitter says 'former TV presenter'.
I'll miss Top Gear. :'(
I signed the petition that was delivered to BBC by Stig's tank. I loved the BBC. I hate BBC now.
I'll really miss Top Gear, but at the same time, Clarkson can't get away with everything forever, so I understand this move as well.
Show will not be the same without JC ok he made an ass of himself throwing a punch but i think the BBC have been out to get him for a while now.

The show was made by the 3 presenters as i loved their wee banter with each other which was witty and fun and even though i dont like cars i loved the show.
I for one look forward to a new quaint little car show with three vitriolic best bud presenters on an entirely different channel...
I think James and Richard could do it. I'm not sure what extra personality they'd need in there to round it out but certainly not another Jeremy. I betcha Damon Hill would be fantastic in the role.

I enjoyed Jeremy in the show, I laughed at most of his antics but he's poison, they needed to get rid of him sooner or later.
I find Wheeler Dealers much entertaining than TopGear. Don't know how much "fake" stuff is involved in this show, but at least the presenters are not famous for the big amount of crap getting out of their mouths.

Ha! Indeed. Debuting next year on Sky Atlantic! ^_^
I liked top gear, although Clarkson was a dick

I can take or leave Clarkson. But a Top Gear without the Stig, all hope is lost.

"Welcome to Highest Gear!

Tonight: James drives slow, Richard gets overly excited and I insult a bunch of people."

And on that bombshell...
Oh, so they're going to continue on? Sounds a bit like Charlie Sheen's departure on 2.5 men.
