What do you mean?

Wait there is a video game being sold on gog.com that has Digital Rights Management (DRM)?

Which one? Besides their multiplayer?

Anyways I keep telling people to vote for the multiplayer if you want 100% Digital Rights Management (DRM) free multiplayer.

Here is my wishlist.

www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy/dedicated_servers_both_official_and_rentable

It has 7,802 votes.

Yes, I said that already few months ago!
This is GOG-s last chance:

He means that gog is going to sell games from the epic games store.

I think my wishlist works better to have GOG Galaxy stop existing and it has a lot more votes.
Yeah, I've updated the op for all the people late to the party.

Here's a link to the Reddit post referred to in the second link:

No, the launcher is still necessary as these games have DRM. It means that, if you already have the Epic launcher installed, you can install the game without leaving the GOG GALAXY app. Otherwise when you were to install the game, it will ask you to install the launcher.

Oh if it is purchasing the Epic Games versions of video games through GOG Galaxy then I do not care as long as I can still purchase my video games just from gog.com itself without needing GOG Galaxy ever.

If gog.com ever changes this then there is no need for me to ever use gog.com again and I will just I guess 100% switch back to Steam instead,

In the end gog.com will lose me as a customer and I do not think gog.com wants to lose the 100% Digital Rights Management (DRM) free customers that they have.

The epic games will be on gog.com too, the stores arent different on galaxy or the website.
I think this is OP reaction to this announcment:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general_beta_gog_galaxy_2.0/new_store_inside_gog_galaxy_launches_in_test_phase/page1

[...]
In the new store, we will be welcoming games from both GOG.COM and beyond - including titles previously exclusive only to other gaming platforms. With the internal beta launching today, invited users will have the option to buy games from a selection of hand-picked Epic Games Store exclusive titles, alongside all GOG.COM games. Most importantly, all purchases are covered by our 30-days refund policy as well as 24/7 human support.
[..]

Among those games will also be titles requiring EPIC Client (that is a form of DRM).
Stop over reacting, from what I can tell it just means instead of having to switch clients to purchase products from epic store that you can purchase games from the epic store through the gog client. If my assumptions are correct then this will not change ANYTHING for 99% of GOG users, and the only ones that it will affect will be slightly positively impacted by not needing to swap clients to purchase games from epic.

There are also a not insignificant number of games that do NOT require the epic launcher and are DRM-Free in their own right.

Stop fear mongering please.

I am confused are you saying the Epic Games video games sold through GOG Galaxy will require the Epic Games launcher on gog.com? If I purchase them from gog.com itself and not use GOG Galaxy?

Stop giving gog a pass. The games will be sold on gog.com too, you realize the galaxy store is the same right? Its not two separate stores...
is gog making money off of this or is it just support buying epic games from the client?
