Such a great game - thanks to GOG, Alcon Interactive Group and everyone who had a hand in making this happen.

NuffCatnip: Which cut should I watch? The Extended Cut? The Director's Cut?
avatar
toxicTom: The correct answer to that is of course: All of them. ;-)

From Wikipedia:

Ridley Scott's Final Cut (2007, 117 minutes), or the 25th-Anniversary Edition, briefly released by Warner Bros. theatrically on October 5, 2007, and subsequently released on DVD, HD DVD, and Blu-ray in December 2007 (UK December 3; US December 18)[17] is the only version over which Ridley Scott had complete artistic control, as the Director's Cut production did not place Scott directly in charge.

toxicTom: So if you want to go for "artistic intention", this would be the one.
Thank you very much!
I'm on vacation next week, hopefully I'll find the time to watch the movie then. :)
This week's news bomb! Thanks for this christmas gift GOG! This product should be 19.09€ not 9.09€. Instabuy!

Great! What resolution does Blade Runner run at?
Holy crap! congrats to SCPM for being right! ;)

I remember emailing Alcon years ago about this, glad GOG was able to reach a deal with them and all appropriate parties.

Fun fact: the 28k wishlist entry is the 13th highest on the GOG wishlist.

640x480 as far as I can tell.
You're spoiling us this Christmas. :D
Thank you so much to everyone involved for the release! I've always wanted to play this.
I did a review of Blade Runner long before GOG had it. Here's my ancient blog entry about the great game that has stood the test of time remarkably well:

armitom: I still can't believe this happened, No One Lives Forever 1&2 is next, right?
Please....
I'm currently playing No One Lives Forever Game of the Year Edition for the first time ever. It's quite fun and I just finished the Morocco mission. I have No One Lives Forever 2 to play next. Man are these expensive from eBay! Would love to be able to get them here.
high rated
I was too young to play this game - let alone know it existed - when it first came out but it has always intrigued me due to its legendary status as being as powerful of an experience as the first movie so I'm glad I can finally see things I wouldn't believe without having to try to work with an ancient physical copy. Most interested I'm to know how they managed to do the at the time ambitious idea of randomizing the guilty ones each play through.

And yes, this the first comment I've written during my entire six years of using this site.

sanscript: Now the only thing that remains is the rest of the Westwoods games. :)
The only big Westwood series that remain absent is Dune (Dune 2,Dune 2000..),Well aside from EA releasing Command&Conquer Remastered
