vidsgame: It's no better here either. People in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago - crappy commute and your arm, leg and liver for parking.
How much is public transport? In the UK, a monthly commute to work (a 30min journey on a overcrowded train) cost me almost 300USD :-O

Well, that depends on what you have to use. If you can do with just public transport, it's probably closer to 80USD or so. But as soon as trains come into play, oh boy.

I don't think you have to deal with a lot of commuting issues in Hogwarts. Once you've worked out the changing staircases.
