We’d like to inform you that Requiem: Avenging Angel, Uprising: Join or Die and Uprising 2 - Lead and Destroy will be delisted from our catalog due to expiring licensing rights on February 7th (Friday), 4pm UTC.
We’re working on bringing them back as fast as possible.

For everyone who purchased any of the games prior to delisting, they will remain in their GOG library.
hopefully they'll come back!
What's up with the Retroism games biting the bullet recently?

Did the licensing rights negotiations not go well?

Already have Requiem and my cousin has the first Uprising. Thinking about getting the second Uprising game....

Sucks to see another good fps game go but at least this time people where informed a few days before the delisting will happen. So better get this game now if you're interested.
Already own the games but thank you for the heads up in advance and not a few hours before delisting. Hope to see them come back.

My guess is Retroism is having issues of some sort.
Thank you for notification. At least we have a few days ahead, already own these games but still it is nice to know in advance. I wish we could get all other delisting notifications with 3 days period (or even more), and NOT green like any other ordinary threads, but you probably already know that, just can't change it to News or create a separate STICKY thread due to... reasons.

Unfortunately, more often than not, it's simply not possible to inform you sooner. We're always trying to write these notices as soon as we can and I'm happy we managed a few days ahead this time.

Any progress on getting Darklands and Slave Zero back? If you can share anything in this regard.
In case you haven't contacted the new rights holders yet:

I have a gut feeling that the new owners of said IPs are anti GOG on a Bohemia level. Really sad to see so many Retroism games going away. Thank you very much for the early heads up. Means a lot to us. Might grab a few spare copies for people that will inevitably miss the delisting :/. Cheers

Uprising too? As has been mentioned, I'm also baffled about what type of contract Retroism had to sign, in order to get these games in the first place.

Unfortunately I'd guess that Ziggurat is one of those idiot publishers which isn't too fond of GOG. Shame because Darklands is one of the best CRPGs ever made.
Damn, it's just one after the other. Thanks again for the heads up.
I was going to buy Uprising anyway at the next sale... today it wasn't as cheap unfortunately, but I threw in #2 as well and I was able to pay a little less than full price, which is not that high to start with. At least I already owned Requiem. Thank you for the heads up, I hope you will always be able to warn us well in advance.

Sad news, Uprising 1 and 2 are amazing.

Hopefully every game mentioned comes back as soon as possible.
