SLP2000: Now fallout 2 is 83MB and it's 18 tracks, and it's called 'original soundtrack'.
Isn't F2 soundtrack = F1 soundtrack +some additional songs?

I first played F2 and I was amazed by MM music - then I thought hey - F1 - I'll get several additional new tracks! I was sooo dissapointed...

Dunno, but the titles are different.
Not talking about Fallout 2. Fallout 2 soundtrack is "fallout_2_soundtrack.zip".

Fallout 1 had 2 soundtracks, "fallout_soundtrack.zip" and "fallout_soundtrack_2.zip".
Must've been a while ago. I got F1 during the summer "staycation" and have only 1 soundtrack file in the HDD backup.
My files are from September 2009. I don't generally go and look at game cards of games I've bought, so I don't know when the second soundtrack disappeared

So you have both of the soundtracks then?
I do. I noticed the removal a little while ago and was just curious about what happened, so I mentioned it in this thread.

Can you describe what the difference between the two soundtracks is?

spindown: Can you describe what the difference between the two soundtracks is?
The size difference (81,6MB - 52,4MB), same musics (except that there's no Maybe in fallout_soundtrack_2), and a slight difference in duration (some tracks have 3 seconds more).
If you really like Fallout OST, you can download for free (legally) the remastered soundtrack here (by Mark Morgan):

Curious... any more definitive answers?
bump
bump?
I hate to bump threads, but any news on getting the Witcher 2 EE high-res artbook?

GameRager: They just removed the standalone soundtrack from the one(Or both) game(s)...right?
Which ist a shame, I considered the soundtrack of RoA2 being one of my favorite ones. I owned the CD-version of the game and sometimes just shoved it into a CD-audio -player to be able to listen to it. One of the tracks was inspired by a score from the first "Conan" movie.

Pity, I now own a JoWood-copy of the game which didn't include the soundtrack as well. I wanted to get the game here just for the music.

I'm curious as well. I am soon buying a copy of the Witcher 2 for the PC and would like to know if the EE art book included here is high-res. Thank you.
