Vestin: OK, let me spill it out:
1) The_Witcher_2_artbook.zip - 194MB - image on the left - d/l 2012.04.02 - regular edition
2) The_Witcher_2_ee_artbook.zip - 48,7MB - image on the right - d/l 2012.04.19 - "enhanced" edition
It's not scanning quality, it's image compression.
Why they did thay is beyond my understanding. I hope they'll fix it.

Well, I can understand shitty quality of manuals, but maps and artbooks are no-no.

I'm looking at Arcanum map and it's a joke.

Here you can say what you think about shitty goodies.

And stupid old me had to delete the old non-EE content after downloading the new version. Well, at least GOG is working on it, so I'm certain we'll be able to resolve the matter quickly.
The artbook's quality in EE is ridiculous. They need to fix this ASAP. It's a slap in the face for people who payed MORE than for regular edition.
Assassins Creed artbook is shitty too.

Hah... I would've probably done the same. I was amused that my folder became filled with duplicates, some labeled as "ee" and some not, so I clicked on one, then the other and the filesize difference struck me. When I realized that it's the NEW file that is about 4x smaller, I opened the first things I got my hands on and difference was palpable.

Well, I have no doubt that the GOG team will do the right thing and correct this. Probably someone just uploaded the wrong version. Right guys? ;)
I still don't have an answer for the missing content other than "yes we were forced to remove some goodies after being contacted by the rights-holder for one reason or another" but I'll keep asking.

We're going to get a higher-quality Witcher 2 artbook for sure because I can go over to the RED offices and beg them persistently until they give in. ;) The Assassin's Creed one we will have to ask the rights-holder and see what they can provide, but I've forwarded that request along to Product and we're in the process of requesting something.

EDIT: typos. -_-

Thanks for working overtime to get our questions answered! (Isn't it way past midnight in Poland now?)

It is midnight thirty, yeah. I generally take one last look at the forums before I go to bed.
Looking at the LBA2 poster, I can see why the publisher wanted it removed.

This is example of excellent employee. Your boss should consider promote or raise your salary.

Link to the poster somewhere please? I'd like to have it.

tikeno: Fallout used to have two soundtracks.
What? Okay, NOW I'm grumpy.

fallout_soundtrack.zip: 80MB, 17 tracks + cover image
fallout_soundtrack_2.zip: 50.8MB, 16 tracks + cover image (same image)

Now fallout 2 is 83MB and it's 18 tracks, and it's called 'original soundtrack'.
