I don't really remember how many times community asked for this. GOG rebuild the site adding some dubious features like menu bar at the top but keeps ignoring such important community requests like a sticky with what’s new/removed/altered, ability to change topic's title or properly working search function.

They fixed some things(wanted list, PMs, etc)....give em time, and i'm sure they'll get right on it.....or at least they'll get on it when enough people complain about it(ask for it). ;)

Now that people mention it - yes - the soundtrack to Atlantis has done a runner. I know it because I did the same as I do with every game - I burn it onto CD, and the soundtrack is there and I listen to the awesome credits theme quite a bit.

I know that the entire soundtrack was there in November 2011 when I bought the game, so GOG silently pulling the soundtrack seems a bit insidious to me.

Seriously, with Steam constantly having games pulled, regional locks on Steam games, and GOG's sloppy handling of pulling games and content from their end, digital distribution is getting more nails in its coffin for me by the day...

This is information we should have on the wiki (hey! we have a wiki btw), but I think it needs to be confirmed before it gets added.

I can at least tell those 3 games no longer have soundtracks listed but I have no way of knowing if they were ever there in the first place. The GOGWiki (wiki! guys!! wiki!!!) entry for the games at least lists 'soundtrack', but we often put that in by default.

That sucks.

I doubt they have the back-end structure to take away parts of game packages for sale while keeping it for download. In the case of a game no longer being sold, it's the whole package being affected. This would likely be the reason the Witcher 2 prerorder stuff can no longer be downloaded by us who did preorder it (and I stupidly deleted the file thinking I could get it again, then support confirmed it was no longer available).

They replaced Realms of Arkania games - there were legal issues with in game sound, so now we have floppy versions.

You've got to be shitting me. I almost bought that to replace my German JoWood CD edition.

I think it's time GOG started coughing up some answers.

What's the difference between floppy version and cd version?

How long ago was this? And was it for new buyers(getting the floppy versions) or everyone?

I recently redownloaded them....dammnit. It's like storing your files in the cloud then someone going in and replacing them with other versions or deleting stuff. :\
