Grenaaaaade!

Worms Armageddon, a spectacularly heart-worming blast from the past, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 50% launch discount.

Sergeant Slimytoes looks around suspiciously. Then quietly hops behind his longtime enemy, Dr. Pinkbottom, and allows himself a malicious snicker as he lays down a huge roll of dynamite. Seconds later, the good Doctor is flying halfway through an oversized watermelon and straight into Little Spinspine, sergeant's beloved protégé. They both let out muffled cries of pain, as they roll down the cliff and into the deadly sea below. How tragic... Now let's enjoy it again on replay!
That's the unpredictable chaos and emergent fun of relentless Worms warfare! Employing dozens of crazy weapons, fully destructible maps, heavily customizable gameplay conditions, and hilarious physics, the cute-sounding invertebrates stand ready to spread mischief and mayhem in one of their most explosive adventures ever.

Grab your best buddies, open this can of little fighters, and get ready to cause Worms Armageddon, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 50% discount will last until October 13, 12:59 PM UTC.

IwubCheeze: Yup, I was referring to the remaster. I played through the game last month but I don't remember seeing any frame rate drops. I didn't notice anything strange with wide screen either, for me the game looked fine. I'm just assuming fake wide screen is 4:3 aspect ratio stretched to fit widescreen like they did with Grim Fandango Remastered. Never tried to the multiplayer part of the game but for me, single player was just fine. There might be problems I missed but the game definitely isn't a broken mess
No, what I mean by fake wide-screen is in this case a hacked in wide-screen function that does not encompass the menus and causes serious problems for some recording software. Calling it "fake" was probably not appropriate but I assume it's worse than what the fan patch does.

drealmer7: angry scots was probably my favorite!!!!

I would say for being "more political correct" maybe ? Best example, "The "Euthanasia" training was renamed to "Advanced Weapons Training"..
(Yes we're still talking about Worms Armageddon XD)(Of course, I may be wrong, buuuuut....)

Funnily I just remembered this game two days ago (not having played it in a decade) and didn't want it on Steam. Thanks GOG.
I already threw this in my library to send Team17 a signal.
Insta buy

RottenRotz: How is this even fair?
It's not, but regional pricing isn't about fairness. Be thankful we don't have a prohibited games issue (like our German or Australian friends) and wait for a better price.

WinterSnowfall: For anyone used to the original CD version, the GoG version has the same stripped content as the Steam version. I especially miss the "Rasta" soundbank - of course, if you have an old copy, restoring all the missing sound files is easy.

At least it's 1:1 same with Steam version . GOG don't have a crippled version this time .
Finally! :P

But the price, well ...
...am I the only one who, for some bizarre reason, thought this was already on here?

Had the same reaction at first. Probably due to there being 2 others on here. The new one and a remaster.
Hell yeah! Instabuy!

I used to be in the same league for a long time. Then I got the urge to buy the game and, unfortunately, ended up getting it on Steam about a year ago.

Still, a welcome addition. Maybe I'll get it on GOG on a heavy discount one day.
Great release but sadly priced in response to popularity rather than its genuine value. I'll wait.
Well, at least with such an old game, it's harder for Team 17 to neglect GOG patch-wise. But they did good by setting a ridiculous price, so all is well.

Team17 doesn't even patch it, two authorized community members do ;)
