Wasteland 2: Director's Cut, the ultimate version of inXile's ultimate post-apo RPG is here, available now, DRM-free on GOG.com

The wasteland series is simultaneously the mother, grandfather, and weird uncle of post-apocalyptic gaming, reactive RPG gameplay, and huge, huge freedom. It's a series that pioneered multi-path problem solving, difficult, long-lasting choices and the power to determine your playstyle. It's the essence of what mature RPGs should be.

Today, Wasteland 2 becomes even better with the Director's Cut upgrade, free for everyone who owns the game already.
The Director's Cut upgrade features a complete graphics overhaul. Upgraded to the newest version of the Unity 5 engine, it runs better, supports controllers, and looks more beautiful than ever with all-new environment art, character models, and enhanced light and shadows.

In Wasteland 2: Director's Cut you'll also be treated to over 8,000 new lines of engaging, voiced dialog, as well as completely new gameplay elements: Perks are bonuses allowing you to achieve a new level of mastery in your skills, while Quirks - personality traits that come with a bit of the good, and a bit of the bad - allow you to put a personal twist on your new characters.

Your classic edition comes complete with a copy of: Wasteland 1, Concept Art Book, Choir Songs EP,Wasteland 2 OST.

Or you can go all-out with the Deluxe Edition for even more extra content including: The Bard’s Tale, Novella-All Bad Things, Novella-Earth Transformed, Novella-Death Machines and all the Classic edition goodies.

Return to the wasteland with Wasteland 2: Director's Cut, available now, DRM-free on GOG.com

thunder007: Didn't got my key either. Also got mine with the Bards Tale IV Kickstarter. Maybe this keys are even more special...... :)

P.S. Any news from GOG on this?
The game should be automatically addded to your library, no key involved.
This is starting to get a little ridiculous... I STILL don't have the DC! I like GoG and admire what they do but I'm regretting not reclaiming this on Steam now, this isn't doing anything to encourage me to support GoG in the future.
this is starting to get annoying for me as well. Two days after release and still no free DC upgrade. I contacted support about it which I suggest everyone who doesn't have it do.
I saw a "1" next to my library tab when I logged in, so I thought it's the Director's Cut finally arrived... turns out Ziggurat updated :D
I have it now since 2 hours without contacting anyone. I guess the whole process is slower than expected and the calculation of the expected time was a bit too optimistic. I guess others just have to wait a bit more. Be patient. They are certainly at it although with a much slower speed than anticipated.

I was pretty late to redeem my KS code and thus expected to be late to receive the DC. I received the DC 2 hours ago, so I'm happy enough to receive it before the Weekend.
If you want to play a game for which you have waited so long, it is hard to understand to wait more than 2 days extra. Yesterday it should take 2 more hours, but still waiting.

I am not a shop guru, but I guess the whole system is based on databases. Since it is just an addition for people who allready got Wastland 2, why is it so hard to check who got the "basic, standard or delux" version of the game and also set an entry for the DC version of the equivilant.

It can't be that hard to do this automaticly.

I think GOG need to have a review of how they handle this stuff should this happen again, being perfectly honest it is a little Shambolic.

Everything I've experienced with GOG until now has been brilliant
I got mine around 3.5 hours ago :)

I finally got my copy 49 hours later.

If you don't have a copy at this point - you should probably contact support.

Same here. Still no Director's Cut for me. :(
I still didn't get mine neither. However, I'm in no hurry, I can wait. Yet, this is indeed a very frustrating situation. I hope GOG fixes this as soon as possible.
I still haven't got it in my account.

It was my reward for backing The Bard's Tale early. Maybe we are the last ones?
I also backed the Bard's Tale and still don't have it in my account.

I'm sure it will show up at some point, but the wait is frustrating.
Same here, still waiting.
At least I finished the vanilla version only yesterday, so I don't mind waiting too much, but still...
