What can change the nature of role-playing?

Torment: Tides of Numenera, the wildly anticipated spiritual successor to RPG legend Planescape: Torment, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com!

Welcome to the Ninth World. Built upon eight previous instances of civilization, it is littered with remnants of powerful technology, whispers of ancient knowledge, and echoes of amazing feats of magic. These Numenera shape the lives of the current generation, giving birth to epic stories, deep, interconnected narratives, and fierce turn-based battles. Cast right in the middle of this overwhelming chaos, you're faced with the ultimate question: what does one life matter?

Delve deeper into the world of Numenera with the extra goodies included in the Legacy or Immortal Edition. You can also opt to upgrade later.

--In the press--

"Torment is the weird, wordy, wise, and wicked roleplaying game we've so desired during these long years of heightened spectacle" - RPS

"Cerebral and often disturbing, Torment is a rabbit hole of significant depth, where you can get lost in improbable imaginings of warped realities and existential angst" - Game Informer

"To say that my time with Torment has been profoundly personal and joyful is an understatement" - CGM

V4V: Not nice is expecting others to read whole threads to know what you mean. Please explain your point in your own words.

Skysect: my main post already updated with my messages but you need to see developer's response .
I will decide if I need to see anything after you summarize it in your own words here.

MaGo72: Seriously, I backed a game with serveral Items AND DO NOT WANT TO HAVE THOSE IN DIFFERENT PLACES.

Eat my .... My last game I backed for InXile.
Overreaction much? I takes like 10 seconds to log in to your rewards page as a Torment: backer, you only have to download the extras once, and then you never have to go to that page ever again.

I backed this game on KS too, with the map, strategy guide, novellas and other stuff I don't care about, and I don't see how it's such a huge problem to have to download those extras from Inxile's own site. I mean, you have to log in to that page to get your GOG key anyway...

The only slight problem is that the backer outfit seems to be Steam-only for now, but then again I really don't care about that stuff.

MaGo72: I wrote to the InXile support that I have only the base version of the game on GOG, but backed a bundle of strategy guide etc etc. and like to have an upgrade so that I have game and other items in on place.
You decided to re-post the same screed that you wrote in the dev discussion thread?... Reading is fundamental : https://www.gog.com/forum/general/release_torment_tides_of_numenera_lords_of_xulima_for_free_85d1b/post105

Issue has been reolved, nvm.
Yeah... nice it got released. Congratulations about that :)

But the distribution of the keys and bonus stuff... urgh... uncaring iPeople at work. Bonus outfits even without a gog option. Also if I qualify for everything + more in the legacy edition distribute the key for that and not for the basic edition.

*swearing*.

Whomever handled the backer keys, ... should have handled it with more care.

I better get my morning coffee now.

edit:
niced it up, got a tad carried away

Before posting did you bother to check firsthand what the current state of the situation is or did you post under a mistaken assumption?...

Yes and no. Probably only applies to the immortal edition. There where no other keys nor upgrade keys.

Its not like it is critical for survival; neither does it kills me to DL the stuff from the InX page instead of gog. Its just that this together with the, at least as of yet, missing for gog outfit key is a type of carelessness I can expect from some indi guy(s) selling some 9 bucks game but have a hard time accepting from a company of A-grade professionals. :/

edit:
Oo... Just generally spoken before more ask:
No, I will not trade my Backer outfits.
