ChrisGamer300: The Missing COOP mode for Shards of Darkness don't bother me much tbh ad the game works much better as a single player game.

In truth most stealth games fits much better as a single player experience atleast for me as it reinforce the feeling of isolation and danger you can only overcome by not being seen, making the opposing force seem more threating.

Usually i'm a strong advocate for full feature releases but i don't think it's a big loss here.
Exactly this.

The co-op just seems to have been tacked on at the last minute so they could use it as a selling point. Goes completely against what a stealth game should be.

richlind33: I wouldn't touch Galaxy with a 50 foot pole. Suffice it to say that I take Marko's user title a tad more seriously than he does. ;p
I still have enough moments to critizise GOG to stay true to that user title - so don't worry I take it seriously and there's a reason I never changed it once I introduced it. Often I still ask myself were GOG wants to go and what GOG wants to be and how they want to do it ... then again I never believed that GOG wants to go Steam completely and I still don't ...

MarkoH01: Oh, if we would have it your way I could probably tell you to enjoy your sweet nothing - I guess that would be better?

richlind33: Have you no moxie!?!? No backlog? lol
Well, I was speaking in general and not abot myself. There are probably a lot of people here with far more time than I have available and to judge a decision GOG did imo it's not necessary that I am the one who is directly involved - it's enough for me to know that many are happy GOG decided to get the games here (which is obvious when you read this thread alone).

Are the second and third games feature a 200 years old green skinned Lara Croft ?

The Wall remains undefeated.
Pleasant surprise to find after the weekend 2 games I wanted here, in a complete trilogy and keenly priced too!

Thank you, Cyanide & GOG!

MarkoH01: That's probably not up to GOG but to the devs/publishers of the game. I am pretty sure that reworking the game to use GOG API instead of Steam API is quite time consuming and therefore costly so they decided to not even try and offer us a free DLC instead. Imo it's great that they at least try to do something to compensate for the missing MP - but of course it would even be better to get the exact same features. Still, because of what I said above regarding the costs and effort I doubt it will happen. You should contact Focus on their discord to get a definitive answer. They are replying quite fast and friendly.

richlind33: No, it isn't great -- in fact, it sucks, because it shows that GOG's standards are in the gutter and "curation" is a sad joke. GOG should say NO to everyone that isn't fully committed to it's platform, or scrap Galaxy and be done with it. When I see this nonsense It makes me think that GOG doesn't have a real commitment to Galaxy -- or anything else, for that matter.
Only companies with tons of money pilling in every day can afford that kind of behavior.

Steam has there 30% of of every transaction which is allot since there marketplace is basically a gambling addicts paradise. While Epic has Fortnite and all off the merchandise from the franchise.
I actually bought The Council hoping that these would be next. And here they are, good times.

I'm wondering how hard GOG is working to make Galaxy easy to use. I would be paying people to help companies do whatever needs to be done to get all the features working. Sure, it would cost money, but how else can you build Galaxy into a viable alternative for AA and AAA publishers/developers?
