The game started as an free to play mobile game (like most of the games from this publisher).
Around 2023
Now since than it is available on Steam, XBox....
You can spent several hours with it...for me it was too boring and a refund
Always nice to see a slightly older game show up, I just wish we could get missing indies and AAs from 2012-2020 or so.
Another Kecmo one. Makes me hmmm! (yes i liked their mobile games...)
Wishlisted it because it could be good.
When the game trailer doesn't show you the core gameplay loop, then you know something's amiss...
Okay, so I looked at customer reviews on that other site.....

The Smile Alchemist plays like it started its life as a mobile game with the anticipation that there would be DLCs and consequentially, the late game is very grindy and feels a bit empty due to DLCs that didn't happen. If you're one of those competitionist types that has to do absolutely everything and max everything out, be prepared to grind away even more.

One review stressed that it should only be purchased when on sale and less than $10, but I think they mean something a lot lower than the current $9.99 sale price that we see here on GOG.

It's also been mentioned that this game is 100% crafting and just crafting, no combat. Comparable games on GOG would be Graveyard Keeper and Bandle Tale. I think that either of these games could be possibly more enjoyable depending on your disposition.
