Xeshra: Nah, i would not pay that much... not even on GOG (simply can not afford it anymore... i got other expenses as well). I do not even point at NIS this time because the Asian-version of the newest title (Kai no Kiseki) is 225 CHF as a Ult version and it is from Cloud Leopard Entertainment... so no "NIS involvement" here. The source of this policy is at this point unknown to me. Perhaps, from what i know, NIS was the first one boosting the prices, but... the other publishers, or perhaps even the dev, is not "gentle" anymore, it seems.

I think we all should demand double the salary... it seems required for a "good" lifestyle including some luxury goods.

However... this time i "only" paid 114.39 CHF for the Ult... which is lower than expected. Although, if i use the currency converter... this is still 127.39 USD so it is about the level of the US-price which is exactly 130 USD. Albeit... this is the first time i do not have a 20% bonus price on top of the USD-price... It is probably an error (NIS is insane, you never know) as the Steam price is still 20% higher, well 18%~ to be more precise. Not my issue because i simply may (or may not) pay the price offered to me and this price was okay to me.

Although, even the USD price is already very high... for some countries the price is almost 50% lower... for this game... on Steam. On top of that the Steam version is as well DRM free, just without an installer and sadly... not from GOG. So, if someone truly is a "master cash saver" they may simply use a proxyserver and buying the game on Steam using one of the cheapest regions... which is, just as i said, up to 50% cheaper vs. my region. I think GOG is losing a lot of cash this way because most people from Brazil and elsewhere will get the cheaper Steam version.

Nonetheless... it will not work on Cloud Leopard Entertainment, because those versions are all DRMed... at least it may need a crack there or it simply will be "bound" to the "fake account" forever. Sure, a cracked EXE might do the trick, which can be scanned by 100 scanners first... the other files simply can be gotten by the cheapest "Steam region".

I do not enjoy any of those "hints" and stuff, people should not get me wrong
... yet, it is simply important to know the deal and why GOG is still losing so much money... because there are just way to many "circumvention holes" in order to get something nearly comparable way cheaper and Steam is part of this issue.
Question: Does the Clouded Leopard version have the DLC content NISA is offering separately as well or is all that content included?
I can not tell how it works on Kai no Kiseki because neither do i own this game nor was anyone providing access to the SteamDB-bot... so most of this games details remains hidden.

Sure, it is a good game series but there are not that many buyers. It just does not really hit the "western taste" and it seems more successful on the Asian market..

The only Cloud Leopard Entertainment game i own is "Kuro no Kiseki"= Daybreak. Many years ago... so i can not remember exactly how it worked.

In usual, most Steam DLCs are nowadays "account bound game enabler" so it means, at a certain point those DLCs will be "loaded" as long as the account is enabled as well. The data is already inside the game file, but it is usually disabled as long as someone is not "paying enough". Some people say this was "Capcoms invention"... which could be pretty possible. It usually can become "backed up" by save files and there might be methods for enabling it outside Steam (i will not argue legal stuff here, according to the IP-owners usually anything not "playing by their rules" is not legal). I only may provide hints for some "easy circumvention" which i consider "pretty close to those legal rules".
I bit the bullet and purchased the Launch Ultimate Edition. There was no way in hell that I could reasonably justify nearly $200 for the FoMO edition...which seems only to include a map of Calvard. Big whoop, and certainly something that can be "found" later.

Anyway, I don't keep up with gaming news or STEAM....but there seem to be additional dlc just for purchasing the Ultimate Edition I'll include a photo. I couldn't say factually whether there is anything additional for the complete edition.

I do wanna also say to GOG...if you remove my preoeder bonuses...I will seek a refund. Happens too often, and this time i'll just get my money back.

Which DLC specifically are you referring to. You seem to have exactly what you should.
Are you referring to the "Free Sample pack"? That's a free DLC that is claimable manually on Steam, but is included automatically on GOG with every edition.
While I normally like to get the deluxe or ultimate version, I'm not liking that the game is selling cheat DLC and that it is being sold for more than the base game itself.

To be honest...I don't know what I'm supposed to have (I do now lol). GOG did a miserable job of posting a comparison chart of what items one would or would not receive with which specific FoMo version. Remember that chart from Ys X? That chart was nowhere to be found for Trails Through II on this website when it was advertised. Thank you for providing it btw. It's another one of GOG's so-called Shadow releases without fanfare, explanation, or really even any kind of aplomb. That's where I'm confused. Several of the DLC that I received were not even mentioned on the store page. Now, I could run over to steam as I'm sure they have said chart...but I shouldn't have to. lol GOG messed up the last NIS release (Ys X) in the same manner mistakenly giving away the sandras pack to everyone. Again...glad it's here...but there is always something screwy with NISA releases here. How long till we get those bonus items removed, huh?

Nah, this time it's on NISA. It's not on Steam's store page either. I got it from Steam's news post, rather than the store page.
