A fascinating, feel-good adventure, born of an unconditional love for the classics and drenched in an effortless Afro-Caribbean charm. Follow Bwana, Kito and Lina as they puzzle through perilous jungles and shadowy city streets pulsating in jazz and reggae beats.

Purchasing this item will add three separate games in your library, including the -previously unreleased on GOG.com- Chapter One & Two.

Quite expensive, but appreciated.
Thanks, GOG. Wishlisted.
Great release. Thanks!
Excellent! Glad this made it to GOG. Backed the final game on KS and it just came out today. Will try to see if I can get a GOG key from the devs.
Is that a picture of the Devs on the page?

Do any of those guys look like that know anything about the Caribbean or Reggae? :P
A great game (I've played part I and II) - but too expensive for my taste. On Humble they sell the first two parts for under 6 dollar (part I and II together). I'll wait for a more significant discount. It's good to see the game here however - it derserves its place.

But is it any less authentic than games made by Americans which are set in feudal Japan? :D

I was joking. :P

And no, it is no less authentic. Come to think of it, I can think of hundreds of games I love that are way less authentic than either. :P
Good to see The Journey Down here at last.
And good that the journey is now complete.
Looking forward to (re-)play this funny game.

You can download a version from 2010 (the very beginnings???) from Adventure Game Studio:

I know, and I was playing along. ;)

But it's a fair cop. Those are some intensely Swedish guys, almost the polar opposite of Afro-Caribbean.:D
Great job GOG on getting The Journey Down. It's one of my favorite indie adventure games of this decade. I'm really looking forward to playing through Chapter 3. I started replaying the games last night and am already in Chapter 2. I'm hoping backers will get a GOG key, but if not then I will buy it again in the future.
That is very expensive when the first two have been on sale a ton and I believe even bundled a time or two.
I'm glad they finished the games, but no way.
I do think it's a good deal for anyone who hasn't already purchased the games. But yes, a separate release of the third game could have been more ideal.

The first two are good games though, and the second one improves quite a bit on the first. And from the looks of it, the third one is improving as well.

here's my take on the previous two, if anyone's interested: https://goo.gl/tmZSJ8 ]

Now this one has style. Not sure if it is my style but still.

So it is a mobile game trilogy that is also available for the pc. Does it feel like it should have stayed on the mobile? Come to think of it, modern mobiles are like pcs anyway.
Nice release, but the price is quite steep. Especially when you take into account that the first two chapters have been bundled several times in the past (DRM-free & Steam keys).

So wishlisted for now, but I will wait for a better deal.
