Murder, she'll write.

The Colonel's Bequest, a character-driven adventure full of twists and turns, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com!

As an aspiring journalist and amateur detective, Laura Bow can't say no to a fascinating story involving family feuds, hidden treasure, and gruesome murders. Not that she has a choice: she's now stranded on an island with the scheming relatives of the mysterious Colonel Dijon and her only way out is to explore, observe, and hopefully unmask what's hiding in the shadows of his estate.
fuck yeah gog! i LOVE this game.
low rated
One of several hundred old point and click adventures i have never heard of. Oh well, at least it's a really old game. :D

I hope my attempt at playing Laura will cut the mustard. :)

Should be in a bundle with the second one.
Are those ScummVM packages?
It would be nice to have some "Powered by ScummVM" or "Powered by DosBox" on the game's pages - credit were credit is due!

And yet again I wonder about the absence of Linux support/downloads of obvious ScummVM-packages.

http://scummvm.org/compatibility/DEV/laurabow/
http://scummvm.org/compatibility/DEV/laurabow2/

Also both together should cost as much as one at maximum.
No Activision, I don't believe we can make a deal this way, get Linux and your prices right or bugger off.
