The government denies knowledge but they are here. With the Cold War paranoia at its breaking point, a unit of elite operatives must investigate and eliminate the extra-terrestrial threat away from the unsuspecting public eye. As agent Carter you must assemble and co-ordinate your top-secret team, make decisions under fire, and use advanced technology to outsmart the crafty aliens in this third-person shooter spinoff to the beloved tactical series.
Nice! Had to grab this one when I saw it pop up.

docbear1975: Nice to see this here. Unfortunately, I am flat broke, so it will have to sit on my wishlist for a while.
Fear not! Flat broke doesn't have to mean game-limited! Check your Chat. :)

Pheace: From what I remember it's not so much a bug as NVidia only. On ATI it'd turn into a slideshow if you left it on, when you past things that used it.

Mobeeuz: I have Nvidia, and I had the problem.

You can fix this by just drop PhysXCore.dll file from C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Engine\82D8704BAB07 (this folder with numbers can be different for you)
and copy this PhysXCore.dll file and paste in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\The Bureau\Binaries\Win32 (default path)

This will fix PhysX crashes but... Your GTX 960 will have huge fps drops in intense PhysX scenes. Huge I mean like to 10 fps. Only dedicated PhysX GPU will help (I use GTX 970 + GTX 650 for this game).
All Maxwell series GPUs have fps drops in past PhysX games. I dunno why.
My GTX 970 is highly overclocked with modified BIOS and it drops fps to 10 fps on 1st level in the scene where you meet a Elerium reactor (or whatever it is) with all these thousands of particles flying around him.

NB: Yours will be in galaxy C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\The Bureau\Binaries\Win32 or something like that

Andrey82: Isn't Enforcer is worst? Even Interceptor was quite fun sometimes.

mk47at: I think Interceptor is the worst. Enforcer is so incredibly weird that it's fun if you do not take it seriously.
From my point of view, Interceptor is closer to original X-Com series: you have a base, team, research, dynamic campaign and other things. Same X-Com but strategy battles changed to space sim battles.
This game was a huge let down for me- The idea of a 1950s Xcom really excited me- then it was rubbish. And it seemed to be all over the place, especially later, but at its sale price it`s ok.

It was originally going to be an FPS but they scrapped it at the last minute!

This would have been legendary!

There is always problems for FPS in X-Com series. X-Com Alliance was canceled: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjGxCerqPPY

Bureau was changed into TPS...

pacciulli: That's a weird censorship.

zlep: It is odd, isn't it. Ninjas must have had a bad/violent rep in the UK at the time (at least with the BBC) and the name change carried over to several European countries. They also edited out Michelangelo's nunchaku (but left in the swords, daggers, staffs, etc). By the time the later TMNT series came out in the 2000s, the censorship viewpoint had modernized (or at least become more consistent), and the ninja turtles stayed ninja turtles.
I recall reading it was because some gangs used nunchaks in UK back in the 80's because they were easy to carry.
Nunchakus was banned because of Bruce Lee movies. It was more politics than anything. They cut it out of movies too. it`s funny because they`re all over the internet and the ban still stays.

Do you know how hard it is to actually hurt anyone with these things if you`re untrained? You`re more likely to hurt yourself. You`d be better off with a knife.

As is the case with England it is extremely nanny-state in its attitude and treats British people like babies who can`t control themselves. They are bann happy with everything and now they quite happily restrict people`s Freedom Of Speech on the threats of imprisonment.

We are the most controlled and polite people (except maybe the Japanese and Chinese) even without ridiculous Laws, but it`s only getting worst.

It`s getting less and less fun here.

Yeah I went to buy it this morning and it said 5 dollars. I added it to my shopping cart but when I went to check it out a minute later it changed to the full price. :(

At the time I was going to buy the game it must have been just minutes before 6 PM UTC. It was around 10:30 to 11 am PST in my region which if I am not mistaken is around 6pm UTC.
