Syberia 3: The Complete Journey is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 57% discount until November 13, 11PM UTC.
Kate Walker returns for another magical point & click adventure alongside the nomadic Youkoles and their peculiar beasts. A new villain is threatening their peaceful ways while Kate realizes she finally needs to put the shadows of her past to rest.

Have you tried clicking the button on the right hand side when it turns green? I heard only clicking the background banner just takes you to the games page, which could lead to confusion.

alfoil123: I have just purchased Syberia 3 and downloaded it. Tried to play and after the initial choices and hitting play all I get is a black screen and a little bird trotting in the same place. I have downloaded it onto my Del Icore 15, windows 10. 64 bit. Can someone tell me what the problem is please and how to fix irt. cheers Alfoil.

MarkoH01: Just played about an hour and what you are describing basically is the loading screen. It takes quite long until the game has loaded and I'd guess that with maybe a slow HDD or not much RAM (I am just guessing here since I don't know your system) this may even take longer.
Thank you for your help. Have tried your suggestion and it does what you say. The problem now is that I can't actually play. It is woeful, seems to have a bug where it plays in jerks etc. Do you know if there are any patches that fix the game problems? I am so disappointed with this 3rd game. I am running it on widows 10, 8gh on a i5. All of which are supposed to be compatible with the game. I have tried adjusting the resolution but it hasn't changed anything. My machine is running 64 bit, can this be the problem? Any help is gratefully excepted. Cheers, Alfoil.

I also have the game played through on my i5/64 bit OS (win7 but still). The important thing to get this running in a kind of acceptable speed would be the GPU which you did not mention. In general you should not have extreme problems with the game - not more than anybody since the controls and the tech are subpar at least.

What do you exactly mean by "It is woeful, seems to have a bug where it plays in jerks etc.". Can you give examples? Don't expect this game to run fluid all the time cause it won't - maybe when they released other patches but look at videos on youtube and you will see that people are not satisfied with the tech. Given the graphic shown and the engine used this should run smooth like butter - but it does not. It's playable and that's all (you can find my review that is mentioning all the tech problems I experienced on the storepage).

To speed up loading times you should try to defrag your HDD this MIGHT help. Updateing your GPU drivers to the newesrt version might help as well to fix some issues.

If you purchased the game here on GOG you already have the newest release of the game including all the patches. You can chack this out easily if you start the game and look at the main menu. If there is a menu point called "downloadable content" it's the newest version because the downloadable content was added recently. However afaik the devs are still patching the game. charity23: I purchased Syberia3 which included 1&2 from amazon guess what i didnt know its was a steam play and steam down loades it . it must of been a blank disk or something that i purchased . strange why would amazon sell that for?. wish i had known that GOG was getting it in their store.i think that iwill only trust GOG from now on big lesson to remember.
do not worry you are not missing anything this syberia 3 is by far the worst game i have EVER played!!
