Tarhiel: I heard it was quite buggy during launch, but that has been almost half a year ago, really glad it found its way here :)

Thank you, GOG and Microids.
Question is did they fix the terrible mouse and keyboard controls; the developers were recommending you use a controller for the game, which makes no sense for this franchise.
Glad is here, but from the reviews a lot of people are going to be disspaointe, that, technicall issues aside, the general opinion was it is not nearly as good as the first two.

The mouse & keyboard controls are a bit strange, but nowhere near as bad as they've been made out to be. ( :
I definitely wouldn't use a controller for this.

The voice-acting does sound a bit cringeworthy judging by the trailer. Anyone know if the French version (which I assume is the original language) is any better? I can read French reasonably well, so I might just install that version and use subtitles.
What I would love to see is GOG Connect with Humble Bundle since it is a DRM Free platform it would be great to see this happen and get games I own there to transfer here.

I had a feeling they would put syberia 3 here after the big shitstorm with Denovo on the game, It killed sales lol.

well I will pick it up sometime thanks gog for the free first game now I have both here and missing the third one.
Thank you for the S1 GA :)

alfoil123: I have just purchased Syberia 3 and downloaded it. Tried to play and after the initial choices and hitting play all I get is a black screen and a little bird trotting in the same place. I have downloaded it onto my Del Icore 15, windows 10. 64 bit. Can someone tell me what the problem is please and how to fix irt. cheers Alfoil.
Just played about an hour and what you are describing basically is the loading screen. It takes quite long until the game has loaded and I'd guess that with maybe a slow HDD or not much RAM (I am just guessing here since I don't know your system) this may even take longer.

Oh, I have heard this is nowhere as good as the first two installments, which on top of it featured a concluded story, so there was no need for the third one, yet I am glad it is here :)

'Bout the only thing the game lacks so far is an intelligent save-game system. You can't simply save anywhere--and quitting the game doesn't even save it. Nope--have to wait for the checkpoint saves to decide to work--then you can quit, unless you want to start over or at the last checkpoint. Not good, not even for $14.99. But the wife wants to play, so hopefully it won't be a wash...

In fact after playing a bit through the game in THIS case controller DOES makes sense. You have often several choices aligned the way your controller buttons are, controlling your character with controller also feels better. Remember that this is 3D not like the first two.

I had some voice over hiccups and the performance is pretty bad (i5 - GTX960 - 8GB RAM - 1080p). Everybody might say "Unity" is the problem but "Life is Strange - Before the Storm" i.e. is a simililar game graphics wise (and genre wise) and it runs like butter. So this may either be bad optimzed or FPS locked. Mouth movement also is a bit off and looks weird. First two were much better designed so far (did not play it long enough to be able to give final verdict of course). Still really excited to continue Kate Walker's journey after such a long time.

laser_eyes: I clicked on the free giveaway of Syberia link. I thought I would get a code that I could give to someone since I had already bought Syberia on GOG. I got no code. Instead I got a message that the game would appear in my library. Thanks GOG, for nothing.
You should get an email with a gift code (or check your order list, as Incognita97 already has said). Unfortunately that doesn't help much as the gift code is only valid about as long as the giveaway lasts.

Luned: (apparently extremely region-specific US fast food joke)

So, let me get this straight: there's a ship called the Krystal in Syberia 3, and it gets attacked by some sort of sea monster?

I guess Cthulhu was really craving a Steamer Pack!
Never even heard of that place, so I've fixed your post. ;P

Don't have those, either (unless you count frozen sliders sold in grocery stores), but I'm at least well aware of their existence (along with In-N-Out, Krispy Kreme, Del Taco, and many other "not in my region" eateries). Than again, I live in the remotest reaches of "flyover country", sooo... =)
