A turn-based strategy set in the WW2 period depicting the war between the USA and the Empire of Japan is now available on GOG.COM. Strategic Mind: The Pacific from Starni Games depicts the conflict waged in the Pacific Ocean with mindblowing historical accuracy and attention to detail.

Until 28th January, 2 PM UTC you can buy Strategic Mind: The Pacific on GOG.COM with a 20% discount.
think ill wait for the reviews to come in before i consider buying.
Seems interesting, and has pretty good reviews on Steam, but what's with all these strategy games that have zero gameplay in the trailers? The video pretty much presents it as an RTS, maybe like Sudden Strike or something, it's really not evident at all that it's a hex based wargame.

The still shots make that pretty clear, I think.
WW2 "hex-based" strategy games are always nice :)
But I'm still waiting for Panzer General 1, GOG...

Here's the wishlist entry :

Sure, but a good trailer can give a better impression of how a game plays than screenshots alone (and this article only included the trailer, no screenshots). I just wonder what the point of a trailer is if it only contains cutscene/mood footage, without any part of the actual game on display. Sure, it's pretty standard practice to at least start with pre-rendered footage, but by the end of the trailer I'd expect to see a few clips of the actual game.

Very nice!

Thank you very much :)
GOG,

Looks good. Always open to more WWII Pacific Theater games, but could we get Starni's first game Panzer Strategy as well?

Hello
I am from Starni Games.
We have just announced a new project Strategic Mind: Blitzkrieg, which can be considered a sequel to Panzer Strategy(Full rework with new features), but at the same time, it is a part of Strategic Mind franchise. It will be released in Spring 2020. We have not yet approached GOG team with it but will do it soon. So, hopefully, you will be able to get yourself our new game on the same topic if it got you interested.
