What doesn't kill you, makes you a hero

Stories: The Path of Destinies, a fairytale action-RPG of diverging narratives, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com, with GOG Galaxy support for achievements and a 10% launch discount.

So is it the path? Or is it the destination? Perhaps one's legacy is decided by both. And to be considered a true hero, you must not simply follow your destiny, but take responsibility for all the deeds leading up to it. Unless you can die and try it all over again, that is.

Reynardo used to be a pirate but by a fit of (bad?) luck he is now pitted against a mad Emperor and must swiftly adapt to the unfortunate career change of being a hero. His nimble sword-swinging, dirty-fighting ways will prove incredibly useful, as will his capability to make morally questionable choices in the interest of evening the overwhelming odds. But when you are not averse to sacrificing a friend so that you can score a sinister sword, which Path of Destinies are you walking and where will it lead you? The storylines spawned by your decisions can have fairytale qualities, dark undertones, or exotic adventuring. Different skills, weapons, and encounters await you in each one and you can either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a completely different kind of hero.

Make critical choices and score critical hits as you forge your own Stories: The Path of Destinies, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 10% launch discount will last until April 19, 1:59 PM UTC.
Now this looks very interesting. I'm always looking for more fairytale/fable themed games. Not nearly enough of those, as far as I'm concerned. Wishlisted for now, and I look forward to playing it as soon as I have some spare cash.
Interactive music, always a great selling point ever since Chaos Engine. I'll have a look for sure!
Another action RPG?
The description sounds kind of interesting, but the screenshots look very generic (to me).
I'll wait for some reviews/let's plays.
Great looking and sounding game, be very interested how it rates. Wishlisted.
I really like the conceptual mechanics of this game, at least as they are described. The art style is very lovely too. May pick this up today.
I wonder how much platforming and how much a-rpg this is. I don't really handle platformers well. Wishlisted for now. Btw I like the artwork too, it's a bit cartoonish but still nice.

ARPG Platformer? O_o
Maybe it's like in Victor Vran?

Why wouldn't it be?

Edit: Weird, it's not showing in my Wishlist even though the gamecard shows it should be.
