Any idea if the Mac version is also coming to GOG? I tried to run it with Wine but when I want to install it I get the message "Access Denied". Is this some kind of protection?
I never had this kind of problem with GOG installers before.

Is this a GOG version of the game or did they get the same version running on Steam? I ask because the version on Steam still has quite a few compatibility issues on a modern PC.

What a pleasant surprise, the Tie Fighter release is worth gold already.

Buy it to support non-regional pricing for new additions like this! I did.
I'm looking forwards to see Kotor 2 and Yoda Stories here. :)

haydenaurion: Ah, the game that made me a fan of BioWare RPGs.
It made alot of people (including) aware of Biowares presence because sadly I never even heard of them of Baldur's Gate/Neverwinter Nights.

I remember hearing alot of buzz about the Baldur's Gate series and BioWare, but didn't have a PC to play them. I then saw a magazine preview for KotOR and the idea of a Star Wars video game RPG got me excited, grabbed a copy of it for original Xbox and loved it.

Like you and TheImpZA, I have the same concern.

Could someone please confirm that the GOG.com version is really compatible with Windows 7 AND modern multi-core processors, unlike the Steam version ?

If it is, I will gladly buy it again and finally finish the game ! The Steam version makes KOTOR crash during some cutscenes (especially the space fights).
KOTOR is great. And I'm not even a Star Wars (the movies) fan.

I heard rumors that this was going to be coming out for Linux...I'm sad, but at least I have a shot at passing my courses this semester.
Alas, my patience has been rewarded!
I was seriously considering to buy this on Steam for a lack of alternatives but I held my hopes high that "one day, it will be on GOG". That day is now.

What is best in life, Conan?

--> Patience!
I'll buy this if it's improved for modern systems. So I'm asking like anyone else, what has been done?
