Pick up your blaster and fall in line, trooper!

Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II, a firsthand experience of the greatest Star Wars™ battefields, is available now on GOG.com with a 20% launch discount!

Star Wars™ Battlefront™ was the answer a decade old question: "What would it be like to be a stormtrooper?" It was the first time gamers got the opportunity to participate in the greatest battles of the Star Wars™ films - not as a mighty hero or all-seeing commander - but as a common footsoldier, a disposable cog in the galactic war machine.
One year later, Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II took that answer to a whole new level, expanding on nearly every aspect of the first title. The game dwarfed its predecessor in content with more battles raging across 18 famous locations, frantic space combat with massive boardable capital ships, and the addition of playable heroes and villains from the Star Wars™ universe.

Fall in line, trooper, and take your place on the battlefield in Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II, available now for Windows on GOG.com!
The 20% launch discount will last for 72 hours until Friday, January 23, at 1:59 PM GMT.

This thread feels lonely, so let me start:

What the hell? An online game? Y U no release good old games, GOG?
Surprised we didn't see a Galaxy appearance in this release...

And single-player game as well. Also, it's a good game. Sure, not old, but so what?
Whoops, double post. Fuck Wasawian hostel internet. So, I'll use the chance to reply someone else.

It's a multiplayer oriented game, with a tacked on singleplayer that no one on their right mind would play. I know this because I'm a single player oriented person that doesn't like Star Wars all that much and I haven't played this game. See? It makes perfect sense!

Saw this one (or the first one?) at a friend's place a few years ago. Trying to slow down an AT-AT with my spec-force pew-pew was suitably humbling, and I always wanted to try it some more. :)

Come to papa, little game...
Always wanted to try this, I'm also surprised it hasn't been "Galaxyfied"
Can we get Battlefront, please?
This is a great game. I've had a lot of fun with it with friends at LAN parties and am looking forward to playing it again. You should really get it.
In my wishlist too, but thinking first If I will get this one today or later (is the least interesting to me of the wishlist)

Never played this one, but played a little bit of the first on console and loved it. If you pick it up and try it online, let me know how populated it is with people ya? I was always bummed I didn't give this series more time, and especially bummed I never went back to try the second so this might be a pickup for me if it seems there's a good GoG crowd hanging around for some "beer and pretzels" type multiplayer matches.
Battlefront I was fun in single player, the bots seemed worthy and it was well worth it to stomp around in the crazy assortment of Star Wars characters available to play as. The "capture the flag" style gameplay was easy for quick bouts. This sequel includes vechicles too so I'm excited to finally check it out.
Nice game, but I don't have enough friends that would be interested in this to make it interesting unfortunately.
