I had been wondering about A-Life in this game, as it doesn't feel at all like it's working for me.
Here's a PC Gamer article about it.

Apparently, A-Life 2 is in the game, but it's not currently working right, and they are working on fixing that.

And honestly, I'm not even mad. It wouldn't be a STALKER game if it didn't have bugs akimbo.



One more thing:
Make sure your video card drivers are updated.

I had been having severe stuttering with my 13900KF/4080. My drivers were only 2 months old, so I thought I should be good, but nope. Updated my video drivers to current (566.14 in my case), and suddenly the game runs smooth as silk. No stuttering, and no crashing.

It normally takes 20 years for them to get these games released so they might have to.

I guess UE5 won't do this game good as being a stutter engine as i just heard.
Also didn't notice but don't think they have bullet bounce in this stalker game like they had in previous ones.
Gonna keep an eye on the game, maximum i could play is on medium i think with my setting.
The change one week before release in system requirements was kinda unfortunate.
I just hope they learn to optimize the game.

I contacted Steam technical support, since this game contains extremism and nazism. The developers decided that all this shit in real life was not enough for them, and decided to promote an anti-Russian agenda in the game...

I'll be waiting for the new "Metro", because I know that for the devs from 4A Games, it is much more important to tell a deep heartfelt story than to pit players against each other on a national basis.

I also know that the devs from 4A Games will never remove the Russian language from their games in order to "take revenge" on Russian gamers. This was a very foolish and thoughtless move on the part of GSC, considering that the main audience of "Stalker" is gamers from Russia and the CIS countries.
