Purple craze.

Saints Row IV: Game of the Century Edition and Gat out of Hell, two ridiculous open-world playgrounds of unrestrained action, are now available DRM-free on GOG.com with a 75% discount.

When the aliens invade, the fearless and slightly unhinged president of the United States has no choice but to bend time and space, the fourth wall, and Overlord Zinyak's tyrannical ambitions in order to save us all. Superpowers, mindpowers, weapons of mass attraction, and outfits that go waaaay over the top are the order of the day in this completely bonkers open world adventure that doesn't understand the meaning of "too much".

When you're done whacking aliens with weaponized genitalia, feel free to go wrestle the Prince of Darkness in the Gat out of Hell standalone expansion. Wield outrageous contraptions and soar across his demonic domain as you sin with a confident grin. If you want to make your wings even more fashionable and give your exploits some Shakespearean flair, you need the Devil's Workshop Pack.

The 75% discounts will last until April 27, 10AM UTC, as part of our Deep Silver Sale.
Saints Row IV and Gat out of Hell are also available on GOG Connect until April 27, 10 AM UTC.

NOTE: Currently, Saints Row IV is unavailable for purchase in Australia due to censorship issues. We're working on resolving the situation and we'll keep you posted on any developments.

If the Linux versions of these games were here, with their current discounts I'd buy at least five gift keys each & run a big giveaway for them

You might also want to avoid chewing gum in Singapore - unless you have a doctor's prescription.

Soon™ - but that's just an educated guess.
In case anyone notices they cannot add one of the games seems especially prone to gat out of hell I figured out the problem. I own all the games but it would not gog connect gat because I never actually once installed it. Once I started the steam install let it go for a few seconds then uninstalled the game and then went to gog connect it saw the game right away.

GOG Time is almost as infuriating as Valve Time... ><

exe3: If you use a VPN to get the game do you have to keep using the VPN whenever you install/launch the game? Also it wouldn't get downgraded to the censored version when they release it will it?

Also what of getting your account banned? I hear Steam bans users or removes the games you bought for using VPN's, does GoG do the same?

/edit

Just saw that VPN's are against the TnC so that's that. :/

tremere110: The games are DRM free. You can play and install the game from any location or region. As for VPNs, they are technically against the ToS for GoG. I think they are more for people abusing then to get games ultra cheap from certain regions rather than bypassing censorship laws. I've never personally heard of GoG banning anyone or removing games of anyone bypassing regional restrictions in such a manner. If it really worries you - trade with someone outside of Australia for it.

[EDIT] I don't know what would happen if the censored version was released though. I would hope it isn't downgraded, but I don't know.
I've used tor to get SR4 I've no issues admitting it but there are steps you must take for using proxies is risky to your account.

Here is what support told me yesterday:

"Thank you for reporting these issues and a potential fix for one, we have informed our Product Team and they are investigating.
Unfortunately currently we do not have a fix or a workaround.
Sorry for the inconvenience."

To be honest. I am really wondering how this could past GOGs QA which according to GOG has really high standards ;)

At least the video settings save... *shrug* Definitely an annoying oversight. Thanks for the update!

Yes, because video settings are saved in display.ini while options are saved in sr3DEF_PROFILE (or similar - haven't installed it atm). I figured that out quite fast so GOG should have figured that out even faster.
Got the same message from support. Thankfully I'm mostly used to default controls; so its only a slight annoyance to turn off the filmgrain & not having the radio station remembered. Slight, but still an annoyance.

I wouldn't know but I'm quite taken aback at hearing that the latter is even worse.
