Regions of Ruin is a 2D side-scrolling RPG with town-building where you are introduced to an open world that progressively challenges your hero and settlement the further you delve into the vast continent.

Been out for over a year, no achievement support, (hopefully) no missing features.

What was the delay in getting it to GOG, DRM-free sloppy seconds?

Dear GOG:

Because of this game's simplistic graphics and odd looking mechanics I am going to have to turn this down. I get many wishlist/purchasing suggestions from GOG/Steam/Gamersgate/etc, and due to my "quality curation system"(i.e. my drunk self reading/viewing game pages at 4am usually & picking games by tossing darts at a board) & high standards I must sadly turn this one down due to the above mentioned things and because it's a tad "too niche" for my tastes.

(I kid...the game looks ok to try on a sale, so I may try it someday on a future sale)

(Edit/clarification: Seeing as some are getting the wrong impression here, let me just state that I am willing to pay MORE for the game in ANY future sale....I just have limited funds right now(that are needed for more important things) and a huge backlog, so I have put this game on my list for a future purchasing opportunity when I have more money/less backlog.)

Thank you very much. Has it on my Steam Wishlist. Whas not sure if I should buy it during last sale. When it popped up here on Sale with just enough currency in my wallet I instabought it. Now I have one more DRM free game and one less game on Steamlist.

Why is it so cheap? 90% discount for a new release (on GOG) looks a bit suspicious... I think, I´ll pass.

You FOOLS...this is what they're trying to get people to do....i.e. INSTABUY their "professionally curated" indie game additions.
