JudasIscariot: It's available now so why should I enter the wrong date? :D

Luned: No, the game card says September 25, and it should say September 24th, which is today, cause that's when you released it.
Ah I was looking at the wrong field :) Fixed, thanks :D
Same time as on Steam, cool. And waaaaaay cheaper too. :D

Question though, can we play it in 9/16 mode? I mean, I can turn my monitor sideways, could I launch the game so it's turned too?

Yes, it's in the in-game options known as Rotate A or Rotate B :)
Was gog game version remade so that it works on full hd since I see that on steam people are having problems with 640X480 supposedly being the highest resolution available and on full hd monitors that is pixellated mess. They do say that windowed mode works ok.

I'll be wishlisting this for now. I've been one of the fortunate to not have issues with Raiden Legacy so I've come to enjoy the series.
Very cool release, though I don't like the 3D look as much as the pixel art of the older ones.
Excellent release, I quite enjoyed Legacy, will have to pick this up in the future.

Smannesman: I wonder if this has the same issues the other Raiden release has/had.

djdarko: Unlikely, I don't think this one is running through an emulator, and it's a different developer on top of that.
Cool, unfortunately this one doesn't have a co-op mode.
I might still pick it up someday though, just to have a shmup in my collection.

It does have a co-op mode.

Ha, you're right.
GOG classified it as a single-player game, but the feature list has co-op mode in it.
OK that makes it much more interesting to me.

GOG can be strange at times. Like the time they didn't list multiplayer mode for BlazBlue, because it didn't have online multiplayer.

Very tempted to try this out, Never played these kinds of top down shooters before :O
Omg. Must. buy.
This is a pleasant surprise, since this is the actual arcade software adapted for home use - and not some reprogrammed game.

Now i hope Moss plan to release the Type-X (Windows pc based arcade version) of Raiden IV to us 'mortals', since it is only ported to Xbox360 for now.

The same could be said about Capcom and a drm free copy of Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition ;p
