Matewis: Hmm looks like a cool film possibly. I should give it a watch. And Batteries Not Included while I'm at it.
"No disassemble"

They are but beware: they are quite old, the first Short Circuit (1986 film) Steve Guttenberg and Ally Sheedy
is old, and very young people won't be familair with it, fact is most movies after 2000 stole ideas from the good old classic movies , just like they 'borrow 'a lot of ideas from classic games.

There's a second movie: Short Circuit 2 (1988)

Good movies, i have both cause i love old stuff.

As for batteries not included : 1987 ‧ Fantasy/Comedy-drama ‧ 1h 47m

I dont have that movie, its drama, i don't like drama, everyday you see drama, life is drama so when watching a movie you want fun and excitement, but no drama.

fishbaits: Hmm, I bet Disney would like a word with these devs about Wall-E™©
You forgot ®.
8h playthrough when knowing the game better than your backyard is not too bad. Same playtime for Diluvion, and I think Solus Project developers had similar estimate. All of them are significantly longer when you just fool around and actually have to solve puzzles.

That's a bike or motorcycle , or whatever they call it, the real transformers are with Optimus Prime and the crazy Megatron and the little 'snake' and traitor: Starscream.

Original series were good, lateron they changed the animation and ended with some 3d movie with real humans, this version of the Transformers is not what Transformers was, the animated series are better.
I haven't seen many remakes that were able to match the original: bad example the new Total Recall , it's all about the new effects but actors play a very important role and most of todays young actors can't match the old ones, but thats maybe because we grew up with the old ones, and the current generation 'grew' up with the new actors we have today.

Anyway 90% of the time i stick with the good old, in games and movies.

Its yet another open-world survival game ... but now with Wall-e robots ... looks fun for 10 min but, the magic quickly vanishes if you played something like this before... and you have

if it had to pick a open-world survival game i would pick Forest or Kona ... they at lest have some nice story progression

Basically, I'll tell you the truth about what it is: it's actually the new model of Johnny 5, but you haven't heard it from me. ;)
Wall-E is that you? EVE coming to the rescue. Well sure an interesting premise.

Thx for the link

After watching 13 minutes of it, I am actually very tempted to purchase. It looks interesting, fun and even maybe, relaxing (with tense moments in between).

This game is giving me a Miasmata vibe - although in a "similar but pretty different" sort-of-way. I found Miasmata to be a lot of fun to play - several times through - in a 'relaxing (with tense moments in between)" way. While that game (and perhaps this one) are not long-term replayable; the price seems reasonable if it has a good story and the exploration and discovery is fun.

Will be thinking about it...

As a Canadian, my vote has to be for Kona. A Canadian developer making a game set in Canada and supporting Linux - it's a trifecta of awesome!
ION + ANI = WALL·E + EVE?

That's what popped to mind the moment I started reading the game page - ION's head is almost identical to that of WALL·E (7th screenshot). I guess the devs took some inspiration from that film.

Also from the game page:
[...] a strange, alien planet [...] dappled forests and snow-covered mountains, to volcanoes, canyons, deep oceans and scorching deserts.
Hmm.... for a strange, alien planet, it doesn't really sound much different from Earth.

Coirses! I knew something was missing ;)
This looks like Wall-E but -40% of the actual charm, placing it just above Johnny-5 levels.
Looks fun!
Visually and musically this looks very appealing, the voice work, ironically, sounded phoned in.
