It's murder on the dance floor.

Party Hard, a twisted stealth/strategy game about murdering dozens of annoying partygoers, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 75% launch discount.

Your obnoxious neighbors are having another loud gathering and the ruckus is killing you. Time to return the favor.
Blend with the oblivious dancers and move around the house undetected, until they're all lying dead on the floor or someone calls the authorities on you, ruining the fun for everyone.

The 75% discount lasts until March 14, 2PM UTC.

The game was released on Steam 26 August 2015. The Dark Castle (Free) DLC was released 17 September 2016 (at least it comes with this...). The High Crimes DLC was released 11 November 2016 (along with the purchasable OST).

It comes to GOG 8 March (7 March for those who don't live in the future) 2017... one and a half years after the Steam release. There is no High Crimes DLC. The publisher has not updated ClusterTruck since it released on GOG with missing features.

GOG should fuck TinyBuild right off. This should not be available here... and you certainly shouldn't buy it here.

GOG - your standards are slipping... this... Armello...

Marioface5: I just made a thread to warn people about tinyBuild, and it currently has -1 replies and isn't visible in the thread list if I'm not logged in. I've never seen this happen before, and I'll admit I'm a little suspicious of it.

Here's the link: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/psa_thinking_of_buying_party_hard_it_could_end_up_being_inferior_to_the_steam_version

Attached are screenshots for proof. The first shows the thread at -1 replies, the second shows that without being logged in it doesn't show up in the thread list.

EDIT: And now it has 0 replies and shows up fine even when not logged in. That was weird! Probably just a forum bug though, I hope.
Post upvoted in other thread... hope that works... though with the bugs in GOG's forum software I doubt it

The GOG version of Punch Club which is also published by tinyBuild is outdated and buggy:

"The last patch for Punch club introduces easy mode and GOG version still suffers from a bug which was fixed last March."

Source: https://www.gog.com/mix/games_that_treat_gog_customers_as_second_class_citizens

Also read the review on the store page from "mothwentbad":

"The current gog version is from March 2016, as of December 2016..."

https://www.gog.com/game/punch_club

So with Cluster Truck and Punch Club there are already two outdated / inferior games from tinyBuild on GOG. It's sad to see that GOG still releases new games from them although they refuse to update their other games here.

I wouldn't support this publisher.

Some stealth mayhem is always welcome, and I liked the freeware original. And the discount is great. On the other hand with the sale going on I could get something even better looking with that money... Wishlisted for now (and that's the 59th game on the wishlist! What shall be no. 60?)

It happens once in a while; I've seen it before with one or two other threads. Nothing "suspicious", just another GOG forum bug. :)
Instabought!

HAHAHA, that was a joke. Get it? Like this publisher and its GOG support.

Happened to me too the other day. All went back to normal after a few minutes and the thread showed in the forum. GOG simply loves to surprise its forum users ;-)

Back on topic, the launch discount is nice even if it's a belated launch on GOG. Though with the missing DLC I suspect them to cash in later. Would have loved to get this now, but as it is, I'll probably wait for the whole picture.

I put it in my cart, read the posts here, compared it with Steam and deleted it from my cart.

It's very sad because the reviews on Steam are very positive but if a game gets no updates and DLCs (as you can see from other games of tinyBuild) here, I won't buy it.

By the way: GOG really has to add a delete button for deleting games from your cart on their site for mobile phones. I added the game on my mobile phone and couldn't delete it. I had to boot up my computer to do that. That kind of sucks.

I'm considering this one, even with the lack of support. It seems like the DLC isn't really necessary, and I always prefer the DRM-free offering. I wouldn't pay full price for this with the lack of support, but at $3.22 it's may be ok.
A puzzling release given the issues already brought up in the thread: lacking content already from at least the Steam release and the lack of patches/updates/features of other games in this Publisher's catalogue.

Regardless of who is to blame, possible unseen complexities, or what particular state this game ends up in: this just reinforces that GOG Customers have to be watchful and wary of every release.

Rotate your phone so the screen goes into landscape mode. The 'remove' link should then appear. Not intuitive or documented anywhere - but it works.

*sigh* The reason I stopped buying "new" releases on GOG. Just sticking to the classics until these things sort themselves out. Shame.
Wonder if / when we'll get a blue comment on the topic...

I mean after Armello it only took.. 2-3 pages before a response... :/
Glad I read this thread. Game looked hilarious, but didn't realize it's the same guys from "ClusterTruck".

Nope.
Took some time but i'm glad it's finally here. Also nice discount GOG!

Well, this is what I was thinking when I saw who the publisher of the game was...

No Support, No Money
