One Hell of a time.

Painkiller Overdose, the intense stand-alone expansion to the acclaimed FPS of exhilarating carnage, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 80% launch discount.

Grab a badass-looking gun. Use said gun on the first ugly face you come across. Keep blowing up uglies and watching things explode. Don't turn to look - it's not what cool guys do. Pick up some health, then run towards the next demonic horde. Blast, jump, strafe, annihilate. Emerge on the other side covered in guts, blood, and sweet sweet adrenaline.
This frenetic action and unapologetic gorefest are the pillars of the Painkiller Overdose experience, along with a delectable selection of eccentric new weapons and over 40 hellish monsters and bosses, spread across 16 levels of non-stop killing. Claim the power of a demi-god and make Hell a (slightly) better and less crowded place.

Get your adrenaline flowing and blast your way through countless monsters in Painkiller Overdose, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 80% discount will last until October 24, 12:59 PM UTC.

ThomNG: We're not making the rules about youth protection in Germany. However we are taking care of our games and trying to get some off from the index - just happend on Red Faction: https://www.thqnordic.com/de/article/thq-nordic-macht-den-rotstift-ueberfluessig-red-faction-nach-nur-13-jahren-vom-index

Cheers
Wow, you guys really rock! And if I'm not mistaken, having the German agency responsible for the index "reevaluate" your films/games isn't exactly cheap. A lot of companies simply won't bother, since they might loose more money than they will gain in sales from German buyers. So THQ Nordic going the extra mile by putting in a request for removal from the index for backlog titles like Red Faction is all the more appreciated!

Congratulations on getting Red Faction removed! I still remember getting a physical copy from under the counter after I turned 18.
Overdose doesn't seem to be that good regarding the most reviews. So despite that it's not available in Germany, I'm not going to buy this game anyway.

It's only sad that there is no alternative released today for german customers.

Not even with that low price?

Hmm, when I know that I'm not going to play a game, every cent is lost money in my opinion, if I buy it.

Thanks for your delisting-attempts.

Can we expect titles like "Red Faction II", "Red Faction: Guerilla" and those "Painkiller"-Games to follow?

At least the "Red Faction"-Titles should be no problem, they would get a re-rating of USK-16 after a possible delisting, the BPjM would not block them anymore today...
Another game not available in Germany... Very Lame!!

This is just another reminder why i rarely buy games on GOG nowadays.
Can't buy it. So if anyone is willing to trade, here's my trading post:

Edit: Trade is done. Thank you to everybody who offered to trade. :)

ThomNG: It's stand-alone - you do not need original Painkiller to play it :)
Was thinking about asking you... Do you have plans to bring Imperium Galactica 2 here? I mean it's on Google Play, why shouldn't it be here?

There is no reason why it shouldn't be here, correct ;)

Lord_Kane: I hate to say this my friend, but I never had that issue
Good, because your opinion doesn't matter. Come on, think a bit, him knowing that YOU don't have the issue he has is helping nobody.

Also, I don't get the flak that the devs/GOG get for this game not being available through a German IP, as said, they don't decide of the rules. Does it suck and should be changed? Sure. Should GOG and the devs force the selling of their game here and risk court? I personnally don't think so.

Never been a fan of Painkiller or it's additional games, still each to their own and good to see it on gog.
It started as free and fan made project due to lack sequel to PK, as one of bigger modifications. Back then Jowood had policy "either release something commercially that we want or you don't release it to public at all". So it become sort of expansion-sequel to PK. Many tweaks to graphics (but also these new effects and bigger, more detailed levels can push engine to limits with their geometry triggering crashes, especially not integrated/laptop friendly (namely Animal Farm level, every next manual save might end towards crash during loading and checkpoints can be corrupted if they add to that certain number and exceed it). Weapons behave unique and different than these from PK, many creative levels and enemies with tweaked design or new AI (only few are reskinned) Some levels can be very hard only if you decide go with unlocking tarot cards for them (time limits, especially air combat level before final boss). Overall one of these you should not miss and will provide nice time, although bigger challenge, provided that you play on desktop, not laptop and have stronger machine than one for PKBlack especially since some critical stuff is CPU/GPU related.
