What does the information you reveal to Orwell say about them?

Are thoughts still free?

nice picture..........

But the BB (Big Brother) thing seems to be going on in the netherlands from the start, if we can trust the search results, the dutch are the most and best in tapping anything that can be tapped, from a nice cold beer which the dutch call 'biertjuh'
to tapping of every analog and or digital, and this year they get to tap and collect every single byte of data, all to 'protect the people',(which they endangred in the first palce by open borders) which could easily be done and cheaper ( would also bring back/create tons of jobs) by bringing back border control and checks with trained people to keep things safe.
Plasterk is the man in charge and he is called tapsterk now, google for tapsterk and if you can read dutch you will find info regarding the tapping initiated by Ronald Plasterk.

If they had been more carefull with security and checks they would not have to resort to schemes like these and tapping the living daylights out of their 'voters' ( the people).

Is that an actual advertisement for public transit?

I can't imagine what they were going for there. :P

Breja: This might be the first time GOG will have to close a thread about a game release :P
It does seem to be doubleplusungood at the moment. :)

tinyE: Oh, so it's SIM TRUMP.
Actually its SIM OBAMA since he is the one who expanded the surveillance and lied about it - Just ask Snowden or watch the Snowden documentary which was in the cinema last year.

Massacra: GOG needs a Gulag/Concentration Camp simulator.

Why? There haven't even been any threats of rape or murder yet.

morolf: As for that game, sounds like a disturbing concept...is it meant as criticism of mass surveillance or actually justifying it???
Spot on! I had kinda the same problem with the game Mainline:

There actually were some German Neonazis who created something like this back in the early 1990s:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KZ_Manager

And when I went to school in the 1990s I had a really unpleasant classmate (asshole who bullied me, should have thrown him down the stairs) who fantasized about a slavery simulation (euphemistically called a "cotton manager").
So there probably would be a market for such games, unfortunately.

One source says that poster was an official London transport poster
Can someone tell me the point of this game?

WTF
Mainlining, Need to Know (on the upcoming list), and now this. I'm kind of surprised by how many surveillance games are coming out lately. I had mixed feelings about the Mainlining demo, but I'm interested to know the differences between these three games.
