My Friend Pedro is now available DRM-free. Get it 15% off until July 4th, 2pm UTC.

My Friend Pedro is a violent ballet about friendship, imagination, and one man's struggle to obliterate anyone in his path at the behest of a sentient banana. The strategic use of split aiming, slow motion, and the ol 'stylish window breach create one sensational action sequence after another in an explosive battle through the violent underworld.

MarkoH01: Never heard of this before - also still did not understand the meaning of the banana in the trailer.

So the game is all about mindless shooting and jumping? (Which of course could be fun - I am just asking).
A review is on Gamespot now. Your description sounds about right.
does this game possibly have a level editor?

also, how long is it?
If you were or still are into 90s UK Drum'n'Bass/Jungle-type music this could be worth picking up as well. I assume the soundtrack is not like that all the way through though.

Only lasted for one level (the third, I think) and then it went back to the more retro-modern synthwavey-kind of music... oh well.

Quite surprised (in a good way) to see it available here.
Still haven't decided if I'm interested or not, waiting for some (trusted) reviews first.
Dispatching/dismembering people with the shotgun (especially at point blank range) is quite satisfying. Not to mention that you can kick the dismembered body parts at people, killing them instantly if you hit the head.
If that helps making a decision whether to pick this up or not.

Not my type of gameplay but that line from the game-card alone is pure awesomeness :D

Without the context I'd really be scared of what's going on inside your mind right now :D
That game is bananas! :)
Not pixel art... good. I love good pixel art but I have been becoming tired of I have to admit.

Game is 3D, can't be "pixelart". :P

pkk234: Ayyyy, this looks like mindless fun. I might grab it.
There's nothing mindless about it. It's very challenging and a lot harder then it looks.
This game speaks to me, i hear voices in my head telling me to pick it up and when i try to resist the voice become even louder ! perhaps the game is as crazy as me and that's why.

XYCat: does this game possibly have a level editor?

So far, there's no level editor, and I don't know if there's any plans for it. As for the duration, I can't fully answer that, either, as I've only played 2 hours, so far, but you can finish the first chapter in about twenty minutes, if you're doing it for the challenge and to "git gud". It took me roughly double that time because I'm "wasting time" exploring with different mechanics and trying out different things and approaches to situations. So, assuming the game has, say, 5 chapters, which is usually how these types of games go, you can probably beat the game in three to four hours, assuming you're pretty good at it and you can keep up with the difficulty spikes. Mind you, this is just hypothetical.

Anyway, I'm loving what I played of it, so far. I'm not even a "pro", I just like action games, I think I'm competent enough, without having the "competitive" need to beat highscores or to "better myself", so I would recommend this game to anyone who remotely enjoys action games, fluid gameplay with stylish presentation and a ridiculous premise. This is probably one of the best Devolver published games I've ever played, and that's saying something, considering I've been enjoying A LOT of their latest releases (Swords of Ditto, The Messenger, Ape Out, Katana ZERO, etc).
