Full metal jungle.

<span class="bold">Men of Valor</span>, an intense FPS set in the hellish battlefields of Vietnam, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com with a 40% launch discount.

We lost a lot of good men back there, 'sarge. Some died face down in the muck, some got sniped off the chopper, some got ambushed during these hopeless reconnaissance missions the boys warned you about. We came here thinking we will find honor, the chance to do good, and perhaps even help preserve our way of life. Instead we found death, despair, darkness. But also camaraderie, persistence, valor. And this is why those of us left standing continue to press on. Lead the way, 'sarge.

Hold onto your trusty rifle and join the fray, either on foot or atop a mighty piece of heavy death-dealing machinery. Become one of the unsung Men of Valor, trying to survive in the humid jungles of Vietnam that still echo with the voices of broken men and the terrifying pandemonium of chaotic battles. Then challenge your friends to join you and make their dog tags hit the mud in six different multiplayer modes taking place in vast 24-player maps. After all, it's not about who will win this famously controversial war. It's about who will have the most fun participating in it.

Join the most controversial conflict in history and fight alongside courageous <span class="bold">Men of Valor</span>, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 40% discount will last until February 16, 1:59 PM GMT.

I have dozens of similar shooters and Men of Valor looks like nothing special so i'll pass. :D

GOG.com: snip....
Seems like you got the "release date" on the gamecard mixed up as it's a 2004 game:

(the outdated textures/models are a hint)
Vietnam? I'll pass.
Interesting release. Might look into it later. Also release date on the game card has to be fixed.

Its October 29, 2004 and not february 9, 2016.

More Nordic's games are always welcome. This one is not my style though.

Shouldn't its' release date be in 2004 instead of today?

EDIT: Ninja'd by Matruchus. :-)

I think it was pretty decent.. but I'm not a huge fan of (generic) older FPS's.
Still, nice release for those that love 'em.
Like that one guy with the Shadowrun: Hong Kong review.

Yep, I own the boxed version of it.
I'd rather see the Vietcong 1 with its expansion. Now that was a hell of a game after was properly patched.

I would prefer "Vietcong" from 2003.

I was a bit surprised by the lousy graphics for a 2016 shooter, that explains; thx.
Lokks rather interesting -and wishlisted -the 1st game after a whopping 2 weeks of wishlist stagnancy (aka number of wishlisted items remaining the same)!

edit-rather wishlisted in an hour or so when the game will actually show up on my wishlist...

All I want to know: Is it as good as Vietcong? That's my gold standard for the genre

What disturbs me the most is the ammo counter in just plain text in Arial font :o)
