First to comment, and the first to buy it!...Apparently over at steam as well, as there's no reviews there yet, nor purchases!

I always wanted to be a super-hero!

Looks great, but it's yet another developer that hates key rebinds, as there's no way to change them, and it only lists the stupid controller's keys instead! -3 stars for that alone! (I'm not certain if I have to unplug it in order to get the Keyboard prompts though, as I don't want to restart my PC just to get my stinking controller back on player one!)

It's 2017! WHERE'S THE RE-BINDABLE KEYS!?

That is one of my main deal-breakers for FP games as controllers SUCK for precision shooting, and I am a horrible typist so the SHIFT/Ctrl/Alt is too awkward a stretch as too many idiot developers assume everyone on the planet uses that idiotic combo!

Q/W/E/Space = Sprint/Forward/Jump/Use is a whole lot easier on your carpals than SHIFT/W/SPACE/E especially for using Alt/Ctrl/Shift for reactionary controls, which is why it's infuriating when developers cluelessly and lazily neglect to include re-binds even in the stinking config files!

I will be back after a bit to give more info when I end up playing a bit, though I have to start back in the intro again because SURPRISE there's no manual save in a stinking open-world game!...But I am willing to put that aside for now so I can give you guys a better look on the actual gameplay!

Oh yeah, it seems I have to start the game via the folder as galaxy uses the start launcher that is an elevated process so my game crashes while using it!

================================ EDIT First Impressions: ================================

It's really incredible how you can zoom from out in space to pin-point cities, and when the buildings crash there's amazing details of first responders, the screams and of people running along with seeing them scatter, and cars speeding away!

Unfortunately most of the game relies on precision in both flight and it's shooting the small red targets on the aliens so being stuck with a controller makes the gameplay suffer a LOT as trying to steer with the Right stick and aim while shooting fast moving targets is crap, plus you move too fast that you end up getting disoriented as you're too damn close to even hit them, so you have to swing around to even find them!

Unless they patch in rebindable keys then I'll just shelve this game as it is unplayable for me, as the keyboard/mouse is far superior for this type of genre, however, if this was top-down/isometric 3rd person like Hob, then this would work well with a controller...

I made the mistake of being too damn hasty with this game though, as the first thing I look for with FPGames are rebindable keys, and then denuvo, but since this is here on gog, I didn't need to worry about that! So to sum up, if you're a person that plays a lot of FPGames with a controller or you use the default keys, (which are a mystery as they're not even shown during the tutorial) then knock yourself out, but for me, it's a deal-breaker, 'cept I already bought it!

Is this a pure arcade shooter? Is there anything to do besides shooting things? And is there a point in leaving earth and flying through space?

Yeah. It is some kind of an arcade shooter. There are enemies with different behaviours and red flashing weakpoints. Your main objective is to defeat wave after wave without causing too many casualties. There is a bar on the left which shows you how much is left. After each mission you get rated after how much casualties were caused by you. Your powers can erase a whole city when pointed in the wrong direction like a nuclearbomb for example. So you have to make precise attacks to prevent many casualties. There is some kind of story told by a flying cube but I find it more annoying than interesting. I think this game is made for scorehunting in the first place. There is also such a mode in the main menu but it is locked. I think it will be unlocked after beating the story mode once. The story mode is more of a tutorial which introduces you to the different powers and kind of enemies. The enemies and powers are really varied. It's really a fun game when you know what you get.

Just done some reading and it's a PS4 VR port, so that's why the controls are shite...I hope he patches in rebinds at least via a config file! Otherwise, it's pretty much unplayable for me! Which sucks as it was done by one man it seems, which is quite the feat, and as such; should be rewarded!

I played it with mouse and keyboard and I find the controls are ok. The game is not unplayable like some people say. But I also think that the possibility to rebind keys in PC games shoud be a standard nowadays.
Does anyone know if you can invert vertical mouse controls?

Options menu --> Controls --> invert right stick. Worked for me.

And that inverts the MOUSE for you?

That only seems to work for the controller. It doesn't invert mouse controls.

Re-read what I wrote...And by READ I don't mean skim for key-words!

Usually, small developers are more inclined to listen to the players' feedback, so let's hope there will be future patches with proper rebindings. I have the game on my wishlist for now.
