Time to take off the glasses.

Megaton Rainfall is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 10% discount until November 24, 6PM UTC.
You are a god-like being with virtually unlimited powers. Meanwhile, aliens are invading Earth and totally wrecking the place. It's a match made in superhero heaven.
Get those pesky skyscraper-huggers off the planet but try and keep your nuclear powers in check, 'cause if you hit them with everything you got, the damage they caused will be the least of humanity's concerns.

Watch the trailer.

takezodunmer2005: Just done some reading and it's a PS4 VR port, so that's why the controls are shite...I hope he patches in rebinds at least via a config file! Otherwise, it's pretty much unplayable for me! Which sucks as it was done by one man it seems, which is quite the feat, and as such; should be rewarded!
As usual whenever there are problems with key rebindings as a workaround I like to point to the free third party program GlovePie which is is a script tool running in the back and rebinding any key you like as long as it is running. It does not even need any installation.

Wow, got a distinct "Bullfrog's Magic Carpet" vibe from that trailer! Zooming way out/in, shooting giant wormy things in the sky, etc. Looks cool! I hope they get the keyboard thing fixed, though.
Never looked all that hot to me. Considering it was made with VR in mind, I'll give it a pass.

Thanks for this, I'll give it a go as the game is great otherwise!

Yeah, it's pretty much similar as the game feels incredible as far as mechanics are concerned, which is why I'm disappointed in the lack of rebinds, as it needs precision in both movement and shooting! But yeah, this was designed specifically in order to take advantage of PS4's closed VR tech!

I also thought it was designed specifically for VR. But now I'm not entirely sure. The guy started working on the game in January 2012, which would be a bit early to aim for VR.

But it sounds like a perfect fit for VR. Hopefully, the PC version gets VR support soon. (Nintendo paid to have monopoly on the VR component, but for a limited time only)

It was specifically made for the PS4 VR and not for the commercial versions, but yeah, seems like the developer's active over at steam's forum, so hopefully we'll see a patch for rebind/VR support!

EDIT: Seems like the steam version received a quick patch, hopefully the devs will patch the gog version!

Is GlovePie capable of inverting the Y-axis on the mouse by chance? Or is it meant only for keyboard?

takezodunmer2005: Looks great, but it's yet another developer that hates key rebinds,
Well, fuck those devs then!

Yes, that seems to be the case. Here is an example script.
(Sorry for the steam forum link but the original source link seems to be dead)

Haven't tried it myself and it's just meant as a workaround but it's a start.

This might also give you a solution (it simply reverts the axis completely so also not perfect).

Aw man. Watched the trailer and saw the ghostly hands and was all 'This looks like a fun VR game!' And then there's no VR. I'm seeing rumors it'll get VR in '18. Wishlisted till then!
Steam patch added in rebinds already... but the question is if it came to GOG yet.. if not, if no patch comes in X time then this release should be removed from GOG as an abandoned game that was only put here as a fast cash grab.

been burned by crappy devs before here, and it will just soil the name of GOG.com.. they already are going to have a fight when Cyberpunk drops with its mandatory online features.

Wait, What now? I hope this is wild speculation, otherwise I just might give up gaming altogether!...Well, official gaming that is! ;) And yeah, hopefully they patch it in as it's simply a matter of scripting a menu item...

EDIT: Great! it just updated, I'm guessing it's the patch!

Alfonso del Cerro, muchas gracias!
