Escape the room, one little hop at a time

Lumo, a heartwarming platform/adventure full of old-school charm, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Ready for a return trip down the isometric halls of the beloved, endangered genre of adventure-platforming? You will need to go through more than 400 rooms full of self-contained challenges, delightful secrets, and nostalgia-inducing references before you can escape the looming darkness. But why would you even want to leave here?

Solve puzzles, avoid devious traps, and open your heart to the endearing world of Lumo, DRM-free on GOG.com. Have you fallen in love with the soundtrack already? Pick up the Deluxe Edition and let the lovely tunes wash over you.
Uh, bump. Weird release time.
WOW nice looking game. I'm really flashed but first I want to see what other games will be released here today.

I never put a game on my wishlist but this will be the first one and sooner or later I'll buy it.
"A true love letter to the golden age of gaming… adventures don't get much more heart-warming than this!"
It feels weird for a dev to advertise with stuff like this.
I mean it makes sense if a review said something like that but I don't think there are any yet.

Tell that to any publisher who's ever used Game of the Year Edition as a self-designation.

That's fine, I'm sure Dead Island releasing a GOTY edition gave everyone a good laugh. :P

Another recent review went live today at Eurogamer : http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-05-24-lumo-review
Am I the only one who thinks it really looks/feels like a modern version of Solstice/Equinox?

Since I came here to post that, I don't think so.
I'm not a huge fan of this one's art style though.
I have to say, when I first saw this, it reminded me of an old ZX Spectrum game, Knight Lore, but, obviously, a much more colourful and faster version.

Also Cadaver.

...but there were quite a few excellent games back that were very similar, obviously without the visuals we get with this one :)
