I get knocked down, but I get up again...

Lords of the Fallen GOTY is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM, 84% off until November 12th, 11pm UTC.
Sometimes, the world doesn't need heroes. It needs men with nothing to lose. Harkyn, a sinner and outcast in the eyes of his people, is summoned during these dark times to drive the Lords of the Fallen back into the shadows from whence they came. Master a punishing but rewarding action/RPG combat system, find long-forgotten weapons of ancient power, and make every move count in this deadly dance of perseverance.
I may be wrong, but isn't Lords of the Fallen one of only a handful of Denuvo titles to get a release on GOG? That's quite the accomplishment. Hats off to you GOG devs!

Anothername: Lots of screens show a grumpy bearded guy center stage; a premade player char or do we have character creation/customization?
avatar
MarkoH01: Afaik the visual of the character is fixed in this.

idbeholdME: Pre-made guy. Harkyn. So they could give him a voice.

Unlike other Souls like clones, the character in this game actually speaks which is a nice change
Same with The Surge. But the main guy (Warren I think it was?) in that game is waaaay more generic looking. Harkyn is alright.
Thanks guys :)
Wow. Had no plans to buy any games for while, but can't pass this one up.

Spoiler Alert: it works

Does this include the artbook and soundtrack like the Steam version?

CMOT70: I actually really enjoyed playing this on Xbox, so much so that I'm even considering getting it at this price now that I have built a new PC and my Xbox version is GwG and doesn't have the DLC.
I don't like the rigid Dark Souks comparisons
Is that a Dark Souls / Prince Of Persia crossover?

Yes it does.

Thanks.

Does this game have network features like Dark Souls, like leaving others messages or summoning/invasion? If so are they in the GOG version? Or is it strictly singleplayer?

di0nizus: Holy sh*t! This price is a steal! AAAAAAAA *Bought*
Great game, I bought it in a bundle of four games two years back for $3.

No LoTF is a single player game so you get everything included in this GOTY version.

The others being Sherlock Holmes: Devil's Daughter and ABZU, provided I read through the list correctly. I would share your happiness if it had not taken them 4 years.

RiME also used Denuvo but it got it removed when it was released on GOG
