I get knocked down, but I get up again...

Lords of the Fallen GOTY is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM, 84% off until November 12th, 11pm UTC.
Sometimes, the world doesn't need heroes. It needs men with nothing to lose. Harkyn, a sinner and outcast in the eyes of his people, is summoned during these dark times to drive the Lords of the Fallen back into the shadows from whence they came. Master a punishing but rewarding action/RPG combat system, find long-forgotten weapons of ancient power, and make every move count in this deadly dance of perseverance.

Lone_Scout: Very nice addition! Instabought :)

By the way, what's so special about this GOTY edition? I see no goodies or DLCs in the description. It just seems like an updated regular edition...
That's what i thought too. Unless all packs are included in the game already.

idbeholdME: This games gets a lot of unwarranted hate for some reason. I greatly enjoyed my playthrough of it a few years ago.

For this price, it is a steal.
It's not Dark Souls. It wants to be, but people hold that against it. I do not.

Any DLC included would be considered part of the base LotF GotY game... They won't show up. On Steam, the GotY package includes all DLCs.

I was asking myself the same, but seen at the pack on Steam, it seems that GOTY has all dlc's, plus the soundtrack and artbook.

Also, probably not having Denuvo will solve a few of the usual crashes the game has from time to time lol #fckdrm

Nice release. Too bad that I currently don't have a graphic card. Therefore wishlisted.

Let me guess, this isn't worth my time if I already played Dark Souls, right?
Finally free of denuvo! That took a while... I hope there are more to come.

Accurate. It's not worth your time even if you hadn't.

So... I take it this is one of those "OMG so difficult, so dark, very edgelord, git gut noob" games, right?

mmm from what i know, it is less difficult than Dark Souls series. That's what i always read, though, i have not played yet. Slower, more linear, easier, with less content and with console style checkpoints instead of free saving like DS, but fun anyway (i hope so, will see)
It's more difficult for me than Dark Souls, probably because combat is much slower and overall impression on each hero that it more a titan than human being (imho).
But visuals and atmosphere is still quite good.

Lords of the Fallen, really? Well, I have it on Steam but as soon as I get back to home I buy it here, drm-free rules, and no need to download it each time I want to launch a new game!

Thanks GOG, now the same for The Surge! :)
Bloody hell...

I went into the "Made in Poland" sale's page just to be astonished at the amount of games made, produced or published in that country (or that include Polish creators in some capacity) and I couldn't believe what I was seeing there, tucked-in nonchalantly in the middle of the list.
I had missed the news (a somewhat easy feat in this new layout) of this wondrous arrival, so the triple-take surprise I got trying to believe mine two eyeballs was a magnificent gift all of its own. And then there was that price. Bizarrely discounted.
Holy f****ng s**t, what an absolutely fantastic surprise this was.

Thanks a lot GOG, you DRM-free Gods.

I was really curious about this game and now I can finally play it DRM-free, thank you GOG and CI Games!
