Today we welcome two unique and award-winning adventure games from Square Enix in our store. Life is Strange tells a story of Max Caulfield, a photography senior who discovers she can rewind time while saving her best friend Chloe Price. After that, Max and Chloe uncover the dark secrets of Arcadia Bay city and the consequences of meddling with time.

The story of Life Is Strange: Before the Storm is set three years before the events of the first game. We follow sixteen-year-old Chloe Price who forms an unlikely friendship with Rachel Amber, a beautiful and popular girl whose family holds a dark secret. Like in the previous title, every player’s choice will have a tremendous impact on the game’s story.

Both Life is Strange and Life Is Strange: Before the Storm games are now available DRM-free on GOG.COM with an 80% discount until 15th June, 1 PM UTC.

MarkoH01: Really now?
That's the same poster who made a thread on the Iratus: Lord of the Dead board complaining about how it has not enough diversity and too many white people in it.
What about Mac and Linux versions?

The publishing rights belongs to Feral Interactive and They are very PRO-DRM.
Thanks Squeenix for taking a chance!
Adquirido ambos. Muy buen precio de introducción.
I should be in bed now. Instead, I'm casually browsing GOG's summer sale front page. A little tipsy on my 3rd glass of gruit ale. Been staring at the monitor the past 45 minutes like a moose caught in the headlights. Can't wrap my mind around this awesome drm-free offer! Ok, the room is spinnning now...

Insta-tossed in the shopping cart! Thx GOG! Thx Squeenix! I raise a toast to you guys! :)

Mr.Mumbles: Cool. I really enjoyed LiS, which pulled off the Telltale game formula way better than Telltale ever did. Haven't played the prequel yet. I guess that means we'll probably see LiS 2 pop here eventually, too.
I was skeptical going into the prequel, given there was no longer any rewind mechanic, no more Max, it was a different developer, different voice actor and the first game had been so good but if anything, I was even more impressed than with the first game. The new voice actor, Rhianna DeVries, did a really good job. The backtalk mechanic they introduced suited Chloe so well and kind of was more impactful because you only got one shot. It also worked really well as a prequel except I reckon playing the first game then the prequel is the right way to go, making the events of the prequel that much more impactful than I'd think they'd be otherwise.
How do the nasty internet troglodytes always somehow find their way into gog store page reviews?

Orkhepaj: looks like... it is political so should be banned from here
I don't know what the original post was since it appears GOG has removed post #84.

While my personal belief is that everyone has a right to express themselves, there are better places that this individual could have expressed political beliefs.

I'm a firm believer GOG should be:

a. DRM-Free
b. Hate-Free
c. Intolerance-Free
d. Violence-Free

People come to here to explore games (new & old), discuss topics that they find interesting and ofc to find some sweet deals. At the end of the day, we are all of one race, the human race.

drm-free is fine
the others are subjective
can you even do violence here? dont think so
well some of us would find politics interesting
I bought this instantly. I didn't think Life is Strange would ever come to GOG. That just blows my mind. What a surprise. I've already played this game and beaten it on iOS, but I love that I now have a DRM-Free copy for PC. I'm almost done Chapter 1. I'm quite happy.

I meant things like abusive words that take it too far. And yes alot of it is subjective based on the perspective of the person reading it.
