The problem with this is that games like Witcher would also end up with same tag.
They should be marked as what they truly are: "Porn".

The title had lured me to think it was something related to martial arts, like the old Kung Fu or Budokan games, even if somewhat hentai....

This RPG-maker shovelware from Kagura becomes tiresome somehow.

And sorry but for most of them the (explicted) drawings are the only thing some more work was used upon. And maybe the "story".
The maps seem to be mostly build with the big default asset libary of the RPG maker.

I mean, how many small dev teams do they got to shovel out cheaply produced RPG maker games with some explicted hentai pictures (usually not even animated) and some "voiceover" for them...

This stuff is immensely popular in Japan though. One of DLSite's most popular games was Artemis Pearl and they gave it away for free due to the Hentai Live Expo 2022 which went on during the end of last month. It was a small streaming event with two Japanese hosts, speaking in English of course. A man and a woman. It is worth noting how the woman approaches this kind of content. She's not offended by it at all and even thinks the loli's are cute. Japan doesn't seem to have any problem with this kind of content, it's the westerners who get up in arms about it.

Well, they also showed several games from western adult developers like Future Fragments (which will be here, the dev already confirmed it) which is like a hentai Mega Man, and then you have Shady Lewd Kart (literally Hentai Mario Kart with over 16 tracks, more than 40 racers and tons of unlockable karts). There were also a couple of other games shown there from western developers, it's no longer just the Japanese doing this. One of the hosts remarked that it was a shame the mainstream industry isn't paying attention because there's a whole industry here in the adult market now. And it's gone beyond sex simulators. People are now just making games with sex in them rather than games strictly about sex. And you'd be surprised by the different graphics and gameplay styles that are going into these things. The female host remarked, "when you look at some of these games, it's hard to even tell they're hentai games."

That's the future of this genre. Games with sex, not games strictly about sex. Like I said, look out for Future Fragments, which will be here and has 40 different endings depending on how you treat the NPC's (which the dev said you can kill) and what routes you take. GOG accepted the game and the developer confirmed this on the game's itch.io page.

Remember, Kagura plans to release the whole catalog here, but it's around 78+ titles and keeps getting larger every month. So these will probably never stop coming due to the agreement with that publisher.

Also, the scenes in Artemis Pearl were animated. But it was not released under the Kagura banner. The developer localized it in house, which could be a common thing in the next couple of years. DLSite is looking for translators to work on products from it's site, so that may eliminate the need for Kagura,especially when they make royalties on the game if it does well. We're going to start seeing a lot of games translated this way, because this shit is very popular in the west.
