Yes, that is such a stupid thing these days. If I watch a trailer I want to see what the GAME is all about. They can show cutscenes when we are talking about a movie but for a game I want to see actual gameplay. Well - I guess it won't go even on the wishlist then. Good job publishers/devs. :(

Hi! Dev here. Our launch trailer is not the only trailer that we have. Here's an older teaser trailer that does show plenty of gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sIeD_oal2U

Plus, we feel that a one minute trailer can't do the game justice anyway, especially for a game that's mostly textual conversation. We don't have flashy combat sequences to show, but what we can offer is storytelling and mood-setting, so we decided to focus on that.

In that sense, we truly hope that you don't judge this book by its cover, because you might be missing out on the goodness inside (100k words of it, to be precise ;) ).

Instead, maybe check out the reviews: https://www.pcinvasion.com/interrogation-you-will-be-deceived-review-question-everything/

90% of the time many games that are still in development have some videos on youtube....
deve seem to hand out free keys on steam, so the chance a game has more footage / playing footage on youtube is very big.

I dont watch trailers..... i never did and never will cause there is no real game play that is long enough to show what the game is like, i watched a play through on youtube and it was not what i expected...

The graphics and backrounds are very good and the art too... the only thing that is 'less' are the ' animation' of the 'people' that could be more fluently , and less 'blurry', the 'animations look a little 'fuzzy' , i played similar games like this one in the past 40 years, many were FMV movies , so the suspects animtion could be a little more lifelike, , maybe more animations cells in the animation frames.

Anyway , the game still looks very good and pretty cool and dark but a few minor things could be a little better.
Why is the game using "they" instead of he? It's confusing as fuck.

Romanul: Why is the game using "they" instead of he? It's confusing as fuck.
If you mean the reaction bubbles (the little lines of text that describe *how* a character says their line), we made the choice to use an impersonal "they" to set some distance between the player and the characters. The formality of them being impersonal "subjects" in the eyes of the police contrasts well with the humanity and individuality that you feel when you actually sit down and talk to these people. In which of these ways the player chooses to treat the subject is up to them.

da_petcu21: Hi! Dev here.
Hi.
After the weekend, you should ask GOG for a Developer's upgrade.
It will make your comments appear in orange, making them "pop out" more among the normal user's comments, and thus making you easier recognizable as one of the Devs here on the forums.

Shows an excellent command and understanding of the English language.
I played for a couple of hours, so far so good. The story is actually interesting and there are some managerial gameplay elements that make it more than just a visual novel. I also like the fact that you have files on your subordinates, that is a nice touch.

Hey, thank you for your reply (which I completeley missed, sorry).
Don't take it the wrong way, but especially a game with new game mechanics should really show something from the gameplay ... and yes, a short trailer will only deliver a glimpse of the game .. still it is much more than showing of some cutscenes. First impression will always be the trailer and watching a lengthy cutscene let's me simply skip it if I still have no idea what the game is about at all. I really recommend that you will add a gameply trailer in addition the the lauch trailer.
