The game that wore a fedora.

Hot Tin Roof: The Cat That Wore A Fedora a quirky metroidvania platformer, is available now for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 10% launch discount!

Quirky, spiffy and a little off-beat. Hot Tin Roof: The Cat That Wore A Fedora is a 2D film-noir inspired platformer that's all about finding secrets, puzzles and items. A series of murders, a gritty town of boxes and cats, and a detective story await Emma Jones, the two bit PI in an 8-bit world. Together with your trusty sidekick Franky, the cat that wore a fedora, you'll investigate, chat up civilians and platform all around this extensive 3D world. No film-noir experience would be complete without a little bit of the jazz, and Hot Tin Roof: The Cat That Wore A Fedora chiptune delivery is more than worth a listen.

Poop to save your game, but don't forget to wash your hands, in Hot Tin Roof: The Cat That Wore A Fedora, available now DRM-free on GOG.com. The 10% launch discount will last for one week, until Tuesday, March 3 at 3:59 PM GMT.
Looks like a cute game, will probably watch some gameplay videos to understand more about what the game is, and buy it eventually.
Given the title of the game, it's bit of a shame the cat's not named Maggie, eh?

Wishbone: Ah, sorry man. My sarcasm meter must be malfunctioning. I should have known better, coming from you ;-)
S'all good.

As for this game, it's probably good. I do hope we haven't seen the end of the Warner Bros. games, that fresh Disney titles will happen sooner than later, and (stretching my wish) we get another new "big" publisher in the coming months. ;)

Was that Liz Taylor's character's name in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof?

Edit: D'oh! Got to remember: Google is my friend... Google is my friend...

Ditto... Played that for hours... like.. less than 10, but definitely hours... as a teen... going through a large demo disc with just demos... no money...

*sigh*
Looking at it I really hope it is like Jazzpunk. Short, but fun.
The music in the trailer reminds me of GOG somehow. You sure you didn't make this, GOG?
Heads up, MatCat will be streaming a Let's Play of Hot Tin Roof, tomorrow (Wednesday) at 8am EST (1pm GMT) for anybody interested in checking it out! This is a last-minute surprise stream!

In that case, you seem to have missed mentioning that it has rogue-like elements, and is a spiritual successor to some classic game everyone remembers. ^_^

Seriously, you did such a good job of aping a too-typical indie description that my sarcasm meter didn't go off either...
