Glad to see that ARS GOETIA continue with this particular visual novel-like art style, really was what made The Blind Prophet stand out for me.

Can't disable screen shaking.
No OST packaged.
Poor mouse response on some screens.
No response from devs.

Which version are you talking about specifically, the GOG version?
Tried the demo and liked it. Wishlisted for now.

Was wondering about that myself, at least in terms of the soundtrack.
Not even over on the other platform the OST is chucked in as an extra with the base game nor available for purchase as a stand-alone release?

It's single character. What a fucking waste.
Had a bit of time with the demo and so far so good, in spite of my disappointment that this is not a gridder, it still holds up as a perfect game for the woefully uncoordinated and non-twitch gamer alike! :P

It's point-and-click movement/action so no need for rebinds as gameplay is with the mouse, and the art direction is excellent as I love the 100% hand-drawn aesthetic; so I'm torn between just tossing it in my bloated wishlist, or outright snagging it now!

Hopefully the hotfix lands GoG soon ...
It looks a little like Darkest Dungeon from first person view.
Can anyone who played DD and bought Hellslave compare the playing experience?

There exists a demo for Hellslave.

Ars Goetia is also actually a real medieval text which lists how to summon demons, interestingly.

thanks it's the thing I hate the most together with forced controller or smartphone vibration that can't be turned off

Hello, I'm the composer responsible for 60+% of the soundtrack and I may be able to speak on this, though I'm speaking in an unofficial capacity and speaking for no other developer or individual on Hellslave except myself.

Truth be told, the soundtrack at this moment is not finished and I'm working to finish it ASAP. There are a handful of additional songs and audio mastering that I'm working to provide right now. The reason it's not done is solely due to worldly and local events. I have a full time 40+ hour job in the tourism industry of East Tennessee where music comes on top of that, but things such as COVID:Delta, COVID:Omicron, more natural disasters in a 5-month period than I've ever seen living in Tennessee for 35 years, and even a little bit indirectly of the Ukraine conflict has impacted my ability to deliver everything that was slated to be delivered on time. Since the start of the year, our county lost power for a full week in January during a freak snowstorm that knocked trees all over the roads and powerlines, that caused some damage under the floor where my "studio" is and I had to move my studio and re-setup my orchestra and samples. We had more storms knocking trees over in March and I lost power for 3 days again. Then at the end of March, we had the Wears Valley wildfire that almost shut down the town for another week (both my house and my mom's came pretty close to that one). That and COVID stuff in-between, on and on and on, has kept my working environment destabilized for almost 6 months and caused innumerate delays.

So I apologize for those delays. Without many of those events happening (all of them occurring before even the last one was finished), I would've been able to get the full set mastered and delivered by this release.

I'm not at liberty to speak on the plans to have the soundtrack released as a product/bundled with the game here because I'm only responsible for delivering music tracks to be implemented in the game, but I do believe the main reason it is not yet available as a separate item is that it's not yet the complete soundtrack. Once I am able to accomplish that (and I'm doing that ASAP) and an update to the game is made, that possibility may change.

That's all I can report at this time. Thank you for supporting Hellslave and thank you for your patience and understanding as I work through what I need to. Thank you! :D
