They are. This DLC is just a quick fix, to keep interest high and roll in some money. There are quite a few players in the forums and amongst backers, who are quite fond of this type of gameplay mode. Me not so much, therefore i let this one pass.

You've left it a bit late to pull some salty bullshit about how you were going to be a day 1 purchaser if only the evil, evil devs would stop cutting content. Baaawwwwwww. This DLC isn't even remotely relevant to the main game.

I have just downloaded a patch from my account, apparently saves from previous versions are not compatible, the patch adds compatability in for this DLC. Goto the game page in your account and you should see patch 1.0.0.5 at the bottom.

Already tried that to no avail.
But it also seems I've got some install bug, because I don't get the Crucible UI option, can only load from custom games.

Am I missing something obvious here?
Looking at youtube plays, when they click the Main campaign part of the UI, it shows Main campaign, Custom game & Crucible.

All I get it this...

I've tried uninstall/reinstall, even deleted my save files & nothing changes.

I can get into Crucible via those custom modes shown in the image, but only with a new character, not my old one.
I've not used any mods or cheat modes, so that isn't the problem.

Even tried a re-DL of the latest 1.0.0.5 (GOG-12) install to no avail (this is getting expensive, I'm on metered internots).

Just now resorted to trying Galaxy & it is DLing 163 meg of something, despite I already installed the game & DLC...
Galaxy patched, still same problem.

This is an awesome game, but I usually just wait until all the DLC's have come out and just buy them all.

I must have overlooked this game on kickstarter or just didn't hear about it. Looks good I'll pickup the base game, DLC can wait as I'd probably prefer a story mode anyway.

You do realize that this IS cut content? Right? Read the kickstarter page, originally it was a part of the game, one of the stretch goals. They just wanted to release the game early and figured they could make more money buy charging money for the patch. This coming from a kickstarter backer. So what, a -2 year or something purchaser?
