DUSK is now available DRM-free. Get it 25% off until October 10th, 1pm UTC.

DUSK features cross-play multiplayer and the exclusive THE GOGATORIUM map for the endless mode.

DUSK reintroduces you to a world where butchery and bloodshed must be mastered... if you're to survive 'til dawn. Inspired by Doom, Quake, Blood, Heretic, Hexen, Half-Life, Redneck Rampage and all your '90s favorites, while featuring a soundtrack by metal music mastermind Andrew Hulshult.

If you're interested in some more DUSK goodness, take a look at DUSK Intruder Edition, which includes soundtrack and graphic novel.

LolisInMyBasement: So I bought the intruder edition; where can I find my soundtrack and graphic novel?
Wouldn't something like that be under "Extras" on the right side of the screen?

I don't see an "Extras" option. Is it in game or from my library?

Since I don't have Dusk, the only thing I can tell you is to look in your library. If you look in your library, many games will have an "Extras" tab with things like soundtracks. For example, System Shock 2 has its soundtrack in FLAC and MP3, which you can find in your library if you own it (Extras tab)

I just check my library and found the extra content there. By the way you should get dusk its been really fun so far.
Big news, this is "retro FPS" done well IMHO. I love the Quake vibes and it has quicksave.
After playing this to death, as a retro shooter aficionado, I can't help but find Stephan Weytes cameo the best part of this game, and the rest of its bloody brilliant. Second campaigns my favourite, love the hellish industrial aspect of it all.
woot!

ShadowOwl: Btw, there will be a GOG Connect promo for DUSK when the next major update arrives.
There will? I have both AMID EVIL and DUSK from that other store from well before they were available here but I really want to get them here. If they'll Connect I'll wait.

XYCat: DUCK

is this game good?
QUACK

I played a few levels just now. That's not enough for a thorough review but my first impression is that it pulls of a hexen2-ish atmosphere (with roughly similar if a bit higher level of detail) while gameplay has a rather more quake-ish feel to it (with jankier physics imo). Levels are quite small (on the order of magnitude of quake levels) and not too packed with enemies, so you'll be fighting a handful at a time while looking for colored keys & switches to flip. So if you are into that sort of stuff, you might like it.

Of course it's possible that it goes in a completely different direction after the first handful of levels. We'll see. I see that the other episodes will take on rather different themes so that hexen2 vibe might wear off.
Been waiting on this for awhile because I only wanted it from GOG! DL'ing now, so hype :D
Can this game be player slower? I mean, watching the trailer it seems the player in on some drugs.

Because the classic Quake (1) game was never so fast... I was somehow more slow paced. Oh and Quake was never Doom.

Quake was the game that gave rise to strafe jumping/bunny hopping to build player speed and helped to popularize speedruns in general... so I'm kinda torn on whether I'm missing a joke you're making or if you're voicing a legitimate concern. Even Doom had straferuns to move faster.
No, I am no joking. I do not really understand this "bunny hopping" as you call it? And I do not remember, if you could jump very high in the first Quake...

Yeah, Quake III (3) Arena was something totally different. But that is a much later game and other type of game, like mostly multiplayer only.
I found a video of this you call "bunny hopping". For me it seems, this "mode" was originally not part of Quake I. At least not in single player.

For this this YT user installed Darkplaces mod and also activated cheats.
Look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6kkTwPTvHI

I played only single player, and there I do not really remember to ever be able to "fast jump".

This video explains the bunny hopping a bit - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6jm9iGW2Co

This also goes a bit more into detail about it.

Jump height in Quake is average for the time it was released (say, compared to the ridiculousness you can achieve in other engines like Duke Nukem 3D or... Blood without the jump boots).

Thanks, will watch it right now :)

EDIT: ah, I see. This is the multiplayer mode. Now I understand, why I never see/had this option in single player.

And there is even a comment:
