Wow, so many Drod games? I might bite my tongue but they don't look like much...

Don't judge a book by it's cover. DROD is one of the best puzzle game series ever made.

soulroar: Good to have the whole collection here, well until the next one anyway!

zeffyr: Unfortunately not whole yet.
Considering Webfoot Drod and DROD: Architects' Edition are the exact same game as the version of Drod 1 GOG has just with older graphics and in the case of Webfoot Drod massive compatibility issues(it is a Windows 3.1 game), yes GOG does have the complete series thus far. Honestly considering the lack of the Webfoot release and Architect's edition as GOG not having the full series is like telling someone they don't have a full NES set because they are lacking the variants such as the licensed and unlicensed versions of Gauntlet 1 and Indiana Jones and the Temple of doom. Same games just minor differences.

Point is variants don't nor should they actually count unless there is some major differences between them.

Older versions of DROD 1 have less rooms and more bugs. These rooms cannot be accessed:
- Level 1, Once West - can be seen in Webfoot DROD by watching demos. It can be called the "Credits Room". Not present in the newest version.
- Level 13, Twice North, Twice West - no matter how you explore the maze, you won't be able to access that room. This bug has been fixed in the newest version.
- Level 14, Thrice North - not accessible in the older versions due to lack of passage in the room Twice North. A breakable wall has been added in the newest version and the room can be accessed.

even better reason not to care that we don't have those.

Tuttle: The same way you restored backward -- use the Restore option from the menu, then pick the level/room you want to keep going from. If you're not sure which is the latest room on the level, you can look at the minimap to see which rooms are conquered/unconquered in each save. DROD 5 introduces a "Furthest Save" button to make things easier as well.

Secret rooms in the early games are generally hidden behind secret walls, which act like crumbly walls but are harder to spot. The first one in DROD 1 is in Third Level 1N1W, so you can see what you're looking for.
Thanks! Got 4 and 5, started with 4, found and cleared four secrets, subscribed to CaravelNet.

The Mac Installer is missing - I don't have a Mac, but other users are complaining.

Impaler26: How many DROD games are there? I already have like 5 of them so i don't need any more. :D

JamesBond007: There are four versions of DROD 1:
- 1997 version by Webfoot Technologies, commonly referred as "Webfoot DROD" by fans. Bringing this game to GOG won't be easy, because Webfoot holds the rights to that version of the game.
- 2002 version by Caravel games. Erik Hermansen (the game author) received permission from Webfoot to release the game as open source. It is referred as "Caravel DROD" by fans.
- 2003 version (Architects' Edition). Same as above, but with level editor. Including this version on GOG (either as a separate free game or in DROD 1+2+3's extras) is a good idea.
- 2005 version (King Dugan's Dungeon 2.0) - enhanced remake under DROD 2.0 engine. This is DROD 1 on GOG.

Other DROD games:
- DROD 2: Journey to Rooted Hold (2005) - a sequel
- DROD 3: The City Beneath (2007) - another sequel
- DROD RPG: Tendry's Tale (2008) - can be considered either a sequel to TCB or a spin-off, because the game is played under different rules.
- DROD 4: Gunthro and the Epic Blunder (2012) - a prequel to KDD.
- DROD 5: The Second Sky (2014) - A sequel to previous games. Currently the last game in the series.
my personal Friend Jon Sonnenberg (his musical project is Travelogue) made the soundtracks for DROD 3, 4, and 5.
If you found the music interesting at all, he will be releasing them through bandcamp and iTunes soon.
